If you're reading this, you may already know how to get these merits, but if you DON'T, then it's your lucky day! This is not a guide, it's just a small reminder of the few merits that are easy to obtain. These will be honors, not medals, and the easiest ones IN MY OPINION. If you want to add in the comments, please do. Difficulty level of the merit is reflected by the color of the title.
Red - Easiest. You can do it immediately with minimal cost.

Orange - Easy. Requires Coordination, but fairly easy.

Green - Expensive. Can be done immediately, but it'll cost you. (Over 500k)

Blue - Takes time. Simple, but it'll take you a while.

Purple - Barely made the list. A little complicated, by you can do it!

1. Lovestruck - defeat a married couple
-All you have to do is defeat monkey_D and Left4Dead12 one right after the other

2. Clotted - hospitalize yourself
-buy and use Ipecac Syrup (Under $80,000)
-you can also use the wrong kind of blood, but that requires education

3. Gone Fishing - be defeated by a trout
-attack pops333 and lose. You have to let him beat you, so try to use fists if you think you might beat him.

4. Zero Liability - Recover a card skimmer with at least 250 details

- go to crimes, then to Card Skimming, then find the bus station
- install a skimmer at the Bus Station and leave it there for three weeks

5. Pious - Give $100,000 to the church
- (And there's another merit for $1,000,000)

- Can be all-in-one or cumulative

6. Domino Effect - kill someone displaying this honor
- kill L3Milk. He's got pretty bad stats, so should be a pretty easy kill

7. Double Dragon - assist in an attack (wastes 25e)
- find an easy target and a buddy
- click 'attack', but don't attack them
- have your buddy attack and kill them
-(Or just attack an NPC with the loot rangers)

8/9. Going Postal and Friendly Fire - kill a co-worker and factionmate, respectively
-you should have at least one coworker or factionmate that's weaker than you... hopefully.

10. Leonidas - get a finishing hit with a kick
- Take introduction to self-defense
- Take 'Kick-boxing'
- Kill a noob with a kick

11/12/13. Foul Play, Stinker, and Wipeout - these are going to be expensive, around $800,000 each, but the use is relatively simple
-Buy necessary item (Dog poop, stink bombs, and toilet paper, found in specials section of item market)
-Find item in your inventory and press use
-put in the name of someone you hate that is WEAKER THAN YOU! Otherwise, you will be hospitalized.

14. Church Mouse - have someone mug you for exactly $1

15. Phoenix - defeat someone right after they defeat you
-Find a friend with about equal stats to your own. Have them defeat you, either by hosping and medding out with low health, or letting them win by unequipping everything.
-Med out immediately to high health and defeat that player in return. (Within 10 Minutes, might have to hosp them)

16. Foot Soldier - beat 10 unique opponents in Russian Roulette.
- Many players will do a RR match for as little as possible just to play, so you can set 10 RR matches for about $10 each. $10k if you're impatient.

17. Deadly Duo - attack and defeat an opponent with your spouse
- Get a spouse. Forget about gender norms because all that matters are the monetary benefits. (Don't quote me on that)

- Coordinate an attack on a noob. One person starts the attack, then the other person joins and beats them.

18. Yoink - mug someone who just mugged someone else

- Have a friend who's worse than you mug someone

- Mug them

19. Guardian Angel - defeat someone as they're attacking someone else

- Have a friend attack someone, but don't defeat them
- Defeat them before they finish the attack

20. Wholesaler - sell 1000 points on the market
- Buy a few points, maybe around 25 or 50, and sell them
- Repeat the process 20 to 40 times
- Fast if you're willing to take a loss, nearly no cost if you're willing to take it slow

21. Landlord - Rent out a property to someone
- I would place this under orange, but it's so simple it's red.
- Buy a trailer
- Go to the trailer under properties and press rent out. Make it free to rent.
- Ask someone to rent it.

22. Historian - Read a chronicle
- Go to the newpaper
- Click on chronicles
- Open any chronicle
- Stay on for 15 minutes

23. Who's Frank? - Take 50 Cannabis
- Pretty self-explanitory
- Each Cannabis takes 1 hour and 30 minutes
- Each Cannabis costs $6000
- Total Cost: 75 hours (max) and $300k

24. Alcoholic - Drink 500 beers
- You can only use 24 a day, and that takes all your booster cooldown
- Total cost: 21 days and $350k

25. Forgiven - Be truly forgiven
- Pray everyday for two weeks.
- Just to be safe, pray two times a day, once in the morning and once at night
- Total cost: 14 days, 140 energy

- If you go more than 24 hours without praying, the whole cycle resets. You will inevitably need to do it more than 14 times unless you're perfect on your timers

26. Eco-Friendly - Dump 5000 items
- Currently under development, old method is now unavailable

27. Finale - Defeat someone on the 25th turn
- Equip a HEG ($15,000) and a pillow ($6,000)
- Find someone with about half your stats
- Attack with the pillow until the last attack, then use the HEG to finish them

28. Energetic - Stack to the max of 1000 energy
- To stack to 1,000 requires four Xanax. Each costs under $850,000
- Xanax gives a Drug Cooldown (CD) of 6-8 hours, then you can take another
- Total cost: Max of 32 hours and $3,400,000

29. Flatline - attack and kill a player from full health
- Find a noob with full heath
- Kill the little bugger
- Feel no regret or remorse

30/31/32. Semper Fortis, Manu Forti, and Vae Victus - defeat someone a lot better than you
- Kill someone with 5x your stats
- If you have less that 550k stats, kill penguinbob. He's got crazy strength but nothing else.
- If you have more than 550k stats, it's gonna cost you a lot of money. Must suck to be successful, huh?

33. Carnage -  Complete a hit that gets your faction at least 10 respect
- Pop a Xanax. Kill 10 people.
- Only applies if you're in a faction.
- Also counts for Kill Streaker 1

34. Riddled - Hit an opponent in 10 different body parts and win in a single attack
- Attack a noob using only your fists
- If you kill it too fast, find a stronger noob and repeat

35. Invictus - Successfully defend against someone with double your stats
- Like any and all problems in Torn, this can be solved with money or friendship
- Find (or pay) someone with double your stats and have them lose

36. Self Defense - Win 50 defends
- Wow, you really haven't gotten 50 defends yet? What a loser. Thankfully in Torn, no one is stronger than money. You can buy losses in the Attacking Forum.
- Make a post about buying losses. 250k per loss will do if you want it fast, but lets be honest, people are desperate and will do it for less. 
- Pay immediately when people lose or suffer the flood of bounties and hate mail.

- Remember to delete your post when you're done or the flood will keep coming.
- It'll end up costing you about 12 and a half million for 50 defends.

37. Blood Money - Make $1 Mil in a single mugging
- Have a friend hold $15 mil
- Mug them
(- Or use the scumbag method: Buy mugging)

38. Vengeance - Successfully preform a faction retaliation
- Don't know the specifics, so someone fill me in.
- Have someone (or wait for someone) to attack your factionmate.
- Hospitalize them (the attacker, not the factionmate)
- I think it has to be within 5 minutes of the initial attack. 

39. Boss fight - Participate in the defeat of a lootable NPC
- Find the loot ranger schedule on yata.yt
- Participate
- Also works for Double Dragon

40. Dead or Alive - Collect $10 Mil from bounties
Two methods, Easy or Safe

- Have a friend place 10 $500k bounties
- Collect them all
- Have them place 10 more
- Collect them all

- Have a friend place one $10 mil bounty for $15 mil
- Claim it as fast as humanly possible
- Liable to be stolen by another bounty hunter

41. Kill Streaker 1 - Get a kill streak of 10
- Really? You haven't gotten a kill streak of 10 yet?
- Get out there and mess some people up. Pop a Xanax if you have to.

42. Surplus - Use 100 Rounds of special Ammo
- You can find about 200 for 100 credits in the mission shop or steal them from Big Al's
- Check the items page and click 'Ammo' at the top to see what you have.
- Go on a rampage. But please leave me out of it. Or don't. I can't stop you.

43. Booboo - Go to the Hospital 250 times
- Trust me, you will

44. Souvenir - Get the perfect souvenir from overseas
- It's a random overseas item different for each player
- To find yours, go to yata.yt
- Enter your api and go to awards
- Find the Souvenir award
- Hover over the black ? to find your special item
- Get that thang

45. Pocket Money - Make an investment in the Torn City Bank
- How have you not made an investment yet?
- It's, like, one of the core feature of the game!
- Just go to the bank from the city tab and put some cash in for a week. Geez.

46. Lavish - Dump and item worth more than $1 Mil
- Buy an item that cost just over one mil because you're a stingy miser (mine was a small suitcase)
- Dump it from the item page.

47. Daddy's New Shoes - Win $100,000,000 in a game of Russian Roulette

- Have both you and a friend carry $50 mil for a game of RR
- Play over and over until you both win once
- There's a special breed of mugger that prowls the RR page, mugging the winners.
- Be smart and put your cash in a ghost trade as soon as you win or you will lose several million

48. One in Six - Win 50 games of Russian Roulette
- Keep playing
- Gamba good
- Blitz_Krieger of the future here. I've changed my mind. Gamba bad.

49. Twenty One - Achieve a Natural, Double Down, Insurance, and Six card Charlie
- A Natural is when you get 21 with your starting cards
- Doubling Down is when you bet twice your original amount, it's the button on the far left that you hit if you think you have a good hand.
- Insurance is when you bet on the dealer to get a Natural.
- A Six card Charlie is when you're dealt six cards without busting. The hardest in my opinion.
- Only bet $10 per match, no matter how 'lucky' you're feeling.

50. Fresh Start - Reset your merits
- Just bite the bullet and buy the reset. It gets more expensive every time you do it.
- First time costs 500 points or almost 19 million.

- Blitz_Krieger of the future again. I think the first reset's free now? If it is, this one may be reclassified to red.

51/52. Backdrop/Hairy - Buy a backdrop and hairstyle from the points building, respectively
- Go to the points building on the map
- Buy what you need
- Badabing, badaboom, you got yourself two new shiny merits
- If you don't have points, buy them in the Points Market

53. Radaway - Use a Nemune tablet to reduce radiation
- Buy a Nemune tablet and use it

- You are only able to use a Nemune tablet if you have need of it, so buy and use irradiated blood
- If for some reason you cannot use blood, contact the Bounty Hunters Guild and pay to be hit by someone with an irradiating weapon

54. Homing - Use Focused Scouting to find a specific target in Burglary

- Go to the crime menu, then to Burglary
- If you hit the dropdown that says "Any Residential" (or better if you're more advanced), you can pick a target
- You can select any target, but I'd recommend Beach Hut because they're silly and stupid
- Hit 'Locate' for nine nerve.
- Congrats, you've reached a new low.

These were all the names I could find, AND IT IS WORTH NOTING that Torn has a long and rich history full of players past, some of which may, by pure chance, be included on this list. Also, if you take one of the names from this list, please tell me so that I can take it off. I don't want an unavailable username on my Big Ol' List of a Bunch of Available Three Letter Usernames.

And I got so far. But in the end, it doesn't even matter.

With the upcoming addition of Easter Potatoes, it is necessary to rethink our approach as to how potato finds are valued and what it most desired. Since, obviously, potatoes are superior to eggs in every measurable statistic, it may be difficult to restructure your thinking. You need not worry, my friend, for with my potato extensive research I have discovered the true value of each and every one of our unique and lovable spuds.

1. Golden Potato
- The Golden Potato requires no argument for its greatness. The Golden Potato is a benevolent being that will share with you his glory. The Golden Potato has no equal and no comparison. There is no cap on the ability of the Golden Potato, so any argument that is placed against the Golden Potato is false and shall be discredited. Egregious slander will result in public embarrassment and dismemberment.

2. White Potato
- This uncooked potato has the ability to absorb drugs from your system and remove them through excretion.
- Unlike the Golden Potato, this one is only valuable under the pretense that you have astronomically high addiction. If that is the case for you, like it is for so many older players, the worth of a white potato can end up being hundreds of millions of dollars, while also decreasing a bothersome addiction penalty.

3. Green Potato

- The green potato is very controversial due to the great amount of mold that it contains which can affect readings on a breathalyzer and cause athletes to fail steroid testing, but this is also why it is very popular in Torn. Some claim it has drug-like properties. Others are too high to argue.
- This potato has the most varied usage when held for events outside of Easter. Its long cooldown can affect e-can usage, but who needs e-cans when you have a potentially stimulatory potato? Good for training, good for events, and good for wars, this potato is a good tool.

4. Purple Potato
- The purple potato originated from confidential government testing. The exact effects are unknown, but the citizens of Torn stole it anyway because it seemed valuable. People who use these are seen as more efficient soldiers and hitmen which increases your standing with mission givers by about twenty percent. Side effects include nausea, dizziness, overconfidence, degeneracy, alcoholism, depression, male pattern baldness, and death.
- This bonus is especially effective as a tool to get books when you're short on credits. Since many books can effect your gameplay and quality of life far more than eggs ever could, this is a potentially very valuable potato. Unfortunately for our purple friend, its far too situational to be considered reliable, as at best the purple egg should be used to get more credits on top of what you have, not get you a large amount when you have too little to matter.

5. Black Potato
- You may think that this potato gains its black color from rot or artificial dyes. This is incorrect. In reality, this potato is evil. Consuming the evil potato will make you better at being evil.
- You might be wondering why this potato is not more valuable if money is the most valuable asset in Torn. Simply put, it's because it's not much money. Most people get their money by being semi evil through actions such as market manipulation and gang wars. The potato has decided these are not truly evil.

6. Brown Potato
- This classic potato makes you a little better at your job.
- Ever wonder why the sudden influx of the Irish in the US ruined the working economy? This is why. They're getting constant boosts in their working stats from their potato consumption. In all honesty, the boost of 1% your working stats is barely noticeable, especially if your stats are small as is. Be better. Be Irish.

7. Red Potato
- A good ol' red potato, usually used in fancy recipes. No one really wants them unless they're looking for something tiny. What most people don't know, though, is that they make you really bold and want to do a lot of crimes. This is the leading cause of car bombs in Northern Ireland.
- The angry potato can do a lot for your confidence, but so can booze, so it's not as useful as you'd think.

8. Yellow Potato
- The yellow in these potatoes come from an egregious amount of butter, and that makes me really happy.
- You may not live past your forties, but the buttery goodness will keep you smiling, even though being happy in Torn is worthless if you're over level 40.

9. Blue Potato
- Potatoes are not naturally blue, so obviously they added food dyes. These food dyes are extremely healthy and the FDA hates them for no reason cuz they're stupid. They make you feel really happy and healthy. Like, three times as healthy as usual.
- Through the power of the blue super potato, you will be super durable for about three attacks if you've got an even match in war. Unfortunately, there is a limit to what the benefits of immoral medicine can do for you, so just a little attack from a big player can make this useless.

I'm going to be completely honest with you, I have no idea how it's possible that you got the merit for defeating someone with 5x your battle stats, but not 2x your battle stats. My best advice would be to attack the same target you got Vae Victus from and see if you get it the second time around.

Yes, I said phycological anthropomorphism, which is putting HUMAN emotion into a creature and empathizing with it accordingly. And as much as I would like to see algae in a tuxedo, since I have no idea how that would possibly work, we both know exactly what I was referring to. 
Animals feel emotion, and they can be quite complex, but farmers and ranchers know exactly how to deal with them. Animals form emotional bonds in an entirely different way than humans do, with emotions attached that humans simply do not have, and very few can comprehend. All in all, you're pushing a lot of points on me I did not make, and then arguing against them.
Livestock do not feel terror when they're being killed. They have no idea they're about to die. They cannot even feel themselves dying. You know why we, as humans, put so much stress on this fact? Because it ruins the meat. No joke. If an animal knows it's about to die, the meat simply does not taste as good due to the biological changes that occur when the body is put into fight-or-flight mode. Right before an animal dies, it is at near-complete peace, even the equipment is set up to mimic a daily inspection. When the 'bullet' is fired into the animals head, ending its life, the bullet strikes the part of the brain that affects consciousness and pain detection, killing it instantly and painlessly. If this process is messed up, it is reported on a federal scale and the entire operation can be shut down. So yeah, animals do feel emotion, but they don't suffer because of it.

In response to the second paragraph, please look up the definition of philosophy.

Lab grown meat and vertical farming can produce, like, one hundred times the amount of food that classic farming can. 
But...
It's so darn expensive, that you lose thousands of dollars with every unit sold. To lab grow meat and vertical farm, we as a world would need a newer, cheaper power source, a way to produce infinite clean water, and some way to keep out the millions of kinds of harmful bacteria that a living creature is built to keep out. So while yes, it's possible, we are centuries from it being cheap, safe, and efficient.

The first paragraph is phycological anthropomorphism. The rest sounds like an opinion article. The second to last paragraph is correct on a physical level, but not phycological or philosophical. Ched and Bogie. You can't even fathom how many credit card details they've collected.

Alright, from my knowledge, there are a couple factors that go into it.

1. Activity Level - This plays a huge role in how often your skimmers get found. The more active you are, the less they get found.
2. Location - Gas Station is best for money per nerve spent, hands down. Least likely to get found, but at the slowest rate. Focus on other crimes while you watch the numbers get big and make your brain happy.
3. Skill Level - Can't confirm, but it feels like the higher level you get in Card Skimming, the more details you get before disaster.
4. What You're Willing to Spend - To maximize profits you can put your skimmers in a high risk location at the cost of having to get them more often, but you get more details overall. This costs an extreme amount of nerve, though. But who cares, no one really prioritizes nerve anyway.
