❓ Is SideWinder safe to use? Will I get banned? Absolutely safe! For one, Theres nothing in here that could get you banned. Its all user sided! SideWinder is also staff approved and is ofc built to fully comply with Torn's rules. Plus it's open-source so you can verify there's no malicious code.

🔒 What data does it collect from me? Zero data collection! Everything is stored locally in your browser. SideWinder never sends any information to external servers, So don't worry, Ol Doobie wont spy on you!

⚡ Will this slow down Torn City? Nope! SideWinder is optimized for performance with minimal impact on page load times and memory usage.

📱 Does it work on mobile/PDA? Yep! Both Mobile Browser and PDA!

🎨 Can I customize how it looks? Yep, Extensively! Custom colors, themes, drag&drop positioning, resizable elements, and multiple layout pages.

🔄 Will my settings sync across devices? Currently settings are stored locally per browser so no, Your settings and layout will not save from device to device, However you can backup and save a .json file of your settings and send it to as many devices as you wish and then upload it on that device. Its a bit of a hassle but overall pretty simple and easy! Share with your whole faction! Idc
🔧Whats up with the Taglines at the bottom? Idk I found them funny, If you have any more you think would be cool to add, let me know. They are all stupid quips or references, I cant think of any that would, but if any of these distress, Offend, or annoy you I'm sorry, that was not the intention but as of rn I dont plan to change anything, So deal with it! ❓What Do you mean by "Smart Resizing" in your sidebar? It seems weird! We'll it kinda is... The way it works as of right now is it takes your 2 biggest sized groups and uses the size of them to resize your sidebar automatically. Its kinda janky and Id like to improve on it but it works well enough and helps with mobile.

AI Use disclaimer, Claude was used in the coding of this extension. AI did NOT build this script, However it did help me in terms of bug fixes and syntax errors on my side. It is used sparingly, I want to preface in saying that this script was mostly made as a personal project and a learning experience for myself, with that, I prioritized building from the ground up and AI use was only used during frustrating or time saving moments. Plus anyone whos attempted to code with AI knows its impossible to make a script/extension this long and complex with just AI on its own XD, but I did just want to throw this in here to keep everything transparent 

You do realize there are 2 factions here. We have Core, Which is a 75/25. And we have Legion which is a 80/20. You know nothing about us, And your picking a fight. Why are you even here? You go over there and the words you start out with are "uh, actually" and you hold up your index finger. Thats the energy your giving in this comment section. And last month I hit 103 xannys according to tornreport so thats what? 3.2-3.3 xans a day? Marginally, but still feel like I should say Baaahhh. But I do kinda be skimping sometimes, This months been super busy for me irl so you probably got me beat this month. Annnd I do my refill, both of them actually. And I got a higher NW - mostly from stocks, war, and gambling, Just a matter of time mane, Its all about cordial arguments

Ah i see the confusion. I think you forget how much factions make at our rank, We make on average 600-900m on a win, and 300-600 on a loss. And with us bringing in 2500-6k respect a war currently. Thats about 100-400k ish a respect point. But it has fallen around 100k and as high as 500k. It does vary ofc and whatnot, But making 1m per hit can be pretty hard for us, Let alone multi mil XD. War pay is cache value divided by the respect made simple as that, Paying per respect is a better system as its the way torn intended and has various strengths to it. (read more above) but it equals out to the same thing as Paying per hit on averges. It actually HURTs high stated players in a PPR faction as we make less respect due to the low stated targets in wars. No more hitting entire roster and cashing in for the big guys. Chain bonuses are paid an average respect, normally falling around 3-5 respect. We pay full respect value for outsides which is a great help to noobies and incentivizes chain saves

We do offer Boosters, meds, consumables, refills etc its just tied to the scythe leveling system. Which is, yes tied to leadership handing it out, But we try to not let that be a bottleneck as users can ask for one anytime through a ticket system in discord and that will summon a sort of group meeting to discuss it, And we try to give out a rank up every 6-12 months past the first level of scythe. I think we're pretty fair with it to! All users get upgraded from Scythe 1 to Scythe 2 after their first war. Scythe 1 has no armory access, Scythe 2 has beer and candy access.

We lend each user a Armalite, a DBK, temps, and a full set of combat upon joining and never pull it back. That kit stays with the user unless they return it or leave the faction.

We dont charge to loan warlords, Those are given out on a first come first serve basis and only if available. If held to long we pull it back and give to other users. What your getting confused on is we offer a rent to own payment plan for them aswell where we will cover up to 50% of the initial warlord cost up to 1b. The warlord stays within the armory and is on loan until the user pays it off, at that point its sent to the user. Thats what the warlord thing referred to. We do ofc have a few warlords in rotation however them bitches are expensive so its taken a while to save and get a few. To make up for us being broke, We offered this to help our users get them and with full ownership, without such a hit to the faction.

Hope that clears it up, however id love to answer some more questions! We really strive for transparency! And I know you have no way of knowing this, But we actually just got off a 11 week stat lock before ched swapped to this new ranking system. And these guys stayed with us that entire time, Thats love bro. Not a cache farm. This is our 3rd war back.

War
We war primarily on weekends, and try to avoid irl/game events. We average 3-6 wars a month but our schedule is based around the year and its events. You can see our full schedule in our faction forums upon joining.

We are a Pay Per Respect style faction when it comes to war payouts, Meaning instead of the war's cache value being divided by hits, Its divided by the amount of respect that's made from the users. With Bonus Hit respect ignored and treated as average hit respect of course. This promotes numerous things within the faction in our opinions. New users will feel like they can actually contribute and not just settle for outside hits, Outside hits and inside hits are paid the same every war and are no longer a pay decrease or a hindrance from a faction view. Users are incentivized and rewarded for their help and impact during the war, Not just based off their stats and level. Traveling, group attacks, and higher-effort play are rewarded more (because they give more respect), which then encourages teamwork and engagement across the board. A PPR system also helps with friendlies stealing friendlies called hits, it treats warlord weapons as a meaningful investment, and better utilizes meaningful gameplay mechanics rather than just ignore, or even punish them. We have also built our own private website with systems in place to calculate our Pay per respect system, plus a bunch more! All running off TornAPI. With our average value per respect point a lot of times falling between 100k-350k per point, even in crap payout wars or ones with little targets, you can still make good money!

Armory
Our Armory is well equipped and always stocked, Upon joining we kit each user out in a full set of Armor and Weapons if needed & asked for. RW weapons are available on loan and we will even offer payment plans for warlords! Our 24/7 armory access is tied to different levels of our main member role, Scythes. In wars, all Xanax, meds, etc will be provided, But when NOT in wars, we follow this layout on armory perms-
Scythes I receive no 24/7 armory access, only can utilize the armory during war-time or on loaned access
 Scythes II receive 24/7 access to Beer and Candy
 Scythes III receive 24/7 access to Meds
 Scythes IV receive 2 free energy and nerve refills daily
 Scythes V receive 24/7 Xanax access
(roles above other roles keep perks. Ie Scythe III getting Beer, candy, and meds, and V getting that plus Xanax and refills)

Rank-ups are awarded at leadership discretion, though you may request a rank-up at any time through our service channel in discord. Requests may be denied if leadership feels requirements aren’t met yet. Time in faction, general activity, stat growth, cooperation, OC attendance, respect (both ingame and person to person), letting us know when u cant make it, etc are all things that we look at/for when giving out Rank-ups.
