After the insane fun that was yesterday's event (Thanks again Piccolo!) I have decided to keep the fun going. My bazaar will now be open all year long as a dollar store, with a few caveats:

- The stock will only ever have a single listing of each item. This is to help in spreading things out over multiple days.
- The shop will go down each day at 19:00 and will come back up before 20:00 (Torn time). During this down period new items will be added, and all old stock will be refreshed to give new unique IDs.
- Nothing will EVER cost more than a dollar in this stall, with the exception of the LEETO Cake.


This shop will run purely on my own desire to give people a fighting chance to enjoy themselves. Zero donations are required, but any given will be appreciated.

If, as the above have all assumed, you mean a text-based crime game akin to GTA? Nah. Torn seems to be wholly unique in that regard... ish.

If you just mean browser based games? Check out AlienAdoptionAgency (also known as A3) or Neopets (let the flame comments begin.)

I see the calls for more men and more women.... but why not more unicorns? Magical blood, long swirly horns, some even have wings so they can just bypass plane travel fees.

Today, I hit the 100 day mark. Been a fantastic 100 days so far. Met many amazing people. Figured out my niche in this digital landscape. Looking forward to what the future holds.

Next personal goal is 1000 days. How many more items can I potentially ruin the market value of by then....

*note: Not entirely sure if this is common or not, because games with massive player playerbases like this tend to have revolving doors when it comes to new player retention. Wasn't intending for this to come across as bragging or elitism. Merely excited that Torn has managed to keep my ADHD-ass entertained for this long.

I, for one, appreciate that this new crime of scamming has a fair few people feeling guilty. That is a sign that IRL, you are decent people who'd be worthwhile to associate with.

Sorry to those who have checked the shop and noticed I haven't had a chance to update in a while. Thing is... I'm moving IRL. Next week. Life has been hectic and I've had little time to do more than check in and run gym.

Today is the day! Welcome Tornians, to the Old Man Birthday Blowout Sale!

In just a few minutes (sorry, doing this all on mobile sucks) the bazaar will be open with all sorts of wild deals! It will run all day, and at various intervals I will be throwing something special up for ridiculous discounts.

As others have suggested, if you can't accept that some of these aspects you are complaining about are base level actions in this game, then you should move on to something a little less... aggressive. No game is worth damaging mental health or causing yourself problems IRL.

I suggest Neopets.

Good morning, Tornians. Today, I have come to share the news of the future, so everyone has proper time to plan.

On August 28th (my IRL birthday) I will be opening the Dollar Store with a variety of items. Now, while I openly admit that a good chunk of the stock is cheap shit... there will be a few gems tucked away too. (Anyone need a Dong? Lol)

No participation is required to get one of these special deals. None at all. You see it, you are free to take it. By all means, please do. For my birthday, I want.... others to smile.

I too like seeing new player posts, because of how the community responds. I like to imagine the greenleaf being sad cause all their hard work perfectly articulating the perfectly crafted post gets shot and buried under a grave. (I say this knowing full well that I classify as a new player too.)

Has anyone "sent" them a Trout yet? I would, but all I have are red Herrings.
