In the 600 days I've played forums is the lowest point of torn. Granted i've said some things I knew were gonna get hated on even when I'm not posting and just reading its always a toxic hellhole. Interactions outside of the forums have always been a good time for me.

Why does my character i set away from me and who i am, a reflection of self? Sounds kinda cringe but this is only an alter ego. Why does my alter ego reflect who I am as an everyday member of society is my question to you. And why do you want me to join your faction xD. Its an MMORPG. I am participating in this Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game playing a role.
So what about people who play a character? A character with obvious evil intent, d3vl for example. Do you really think its likely d3vl is a terrible person irl?

Yes i blame him for questioning my real life integrity based of my actions in a video game. Yes. Have you played Rust? The entire premise of rust is to ruin the other players day. You have never met a torn scammer in real life. Your making an entirely blind judgement here. I will only speak for myself but I've never stolen anything from anyone. Not from a friend, gas station,grocery store, family, nothing. But here is fair game. That said I wouldn't steal from a faction as I follow the don't shit where you eat rule. But would I call someone who does a bad person? No.
Your welcome to read the rules page if it wasn't intended, there would be a no scamming rule. But there isn't a no scamming rule... Why arent we prosecuting torn scammers in court? Oh because its okay here, right.
I could debate this all day. "Luckily in this case, Torn permits a lot of violence". This quote says it all, there's nothing wrong with scamming or wrongdoing in a permissible place. I don't scam in real life because my basic morality applies there. Here, I do not apply such morals. I joined torn for the chaos of in game politics, crime, and heart wrenching twists. Im not saying its wrong to be mad at a scam, but saying scamming is wrong... Not in torn it isn't. The game is advertised as a wild city full of villains and wrongdoing (wrongdoing by real life standards). Then I do wrong in torn and people have a moral issue with it?
Well if you cant handle it then im sorry? Not an excuse to just lock people out of accounts permanently with shitty or no provided reasoning. Maybe ill spend a little more money and buy my fed protection too. How much to not be fedded?
