Edit: I found this by luck. definitely better than 30-40min from the other guide. I think other creators could learn from FullmetalEthan. Even with guides I still end up spending an hour for each snow globe. I do not have that kind of time lmao for 17 snow globes.

From what I've seen, the most active players are not people I aspire to be, nor are they people I would like to surround myself with. There are a few cases where they are genuinely nice people, but spending multiple hours a day. Every. Day. Without pay. On this game is what someone with no life would do.
The real winners are the people who leave this game behind and focus on their own lives.

Somehow a lot of people took this as "you can't play torn or you're a loser" when I clearly stated that the most active people are those that I (as in me) do not want to be around.
Arguments like, "you can play torn for an hour a day" or, "you can balance torn and life" is irrelevant since then you would not be a part of those people that play for 5+ hours a day.
After my discussions here, I found that there was a small part of the players that just have torn open while they go about their day, occasionally doing trades or activities in between their daily routine. And some were just retired folks chilling on torn.
like everyone says, you can still play torn and have balanced life, but don't make it your life.
However for those that sit by their computers all day, jobless and broke, stay away from me (full offense). Surprisingly there was a few of those no-lifers here (those that took this post as insult).
I implore some of you to genuinely re-evaluate your decisions and pursue a fulfilling life in general.
*sidenote: some of yall are really bad at reading (no surprise there). You read my words then make up a bunch of stuff based on your wrongful interpretation of a clearly written sentence or paragraph. I'm not shakespeare writing poems, there's nothing to interpret. take it at face value.
I disagree. The general idea is good, but the images are information overload and they contain made up stuff like that stealth kevlar armor, adult novelties offering better nerve?? higher stealth on weapons = less chance of being hit??? weapon and armor qualities reducing from usage which would need repairing???

the images contain a lot bullshit that can mislead new players in really bad ways. The guide would be better off posting torn screenshots instead of AI generated images with false information.
unless personal info is shared, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to keep it confidental. Especially in the case you posted where irl threats are involved.

nowhere does it say convos with staff are going to be kept confidental either. so this is not an expectation in the first place. If there's something you dont want being exposed online, then dont tell strangers on the internet about it. basics of internet.
yes, by buying factions without members in it. buying a faction including its members can lead to all sorts of disasters, so most people buy empty factions.
this is a normal part of running a faction. you will get raided sooner or later.
it's just a scare tactic. tell your members to travel a lot. staying in torn will make you bleed respect. they should be travelling to make money, and when they get back to torn they should train and fly again.
or they should travel to a far country like south Africa and stay there.
1-2 weeks of this and the guys raiding will get bored. any members not listening to instructions dont care about the faction and should be kicked. They are actively burning the respect that the faction worked hard to earn.
