A game doesn't require a purpose other than to be enjoyable to play, I personally love playing Torn because I get to troll idiots, meet idiots that are actually pretty amazing, and get to watch numbers increase. 

Purpose is not objective, in Torn you find your own purpose. 

A piece of advice, do NOT complain about Torn Drama
