Hi just my two cents on it. I havnt seen the last season  of The Rookie just yet as we are lacking behind in New  Zealand.  I am wanting some opinions on The Rookie: Feds. I am not a big fan of other movies or music being same or similar to the OGs but i must say I am enjoying  The Rookie: Feds as its not a spin off but does show a lot of parts and beyondd on what The Rookie had on previous episodes. 

At a very young age i wanted to be an architect. I use to love drawing, designing and overall just building stuff. That didn’t quite happen as planned. Where i am from studying is very expensive so i chose the path my family is in and became a mechanic. Dont get me wrong I do love the job but man its hard on the body. I take my hat off to people being mechanics and then go home and work on more cars i dont know how you do it. If I had to rate my “wanted” and “have” Id say having a job im greatfull for in the end so id say 7/10.

Right now, faction territory in Torn is mostly about bragging rights or passive buffs. But what if owning territory actually meant owning the businesses inside those city blocks — earning cash, respect, or even rare items?

This idea turns Torn City into a real turf war zone. Factions who own territory gain control over businesses, and rival factions can challenge them — but only if they’re in the same respect bracket to keep it fair.

🏙️ Business-Linked Territories  
Certain tiles on the map would now include businesses embedded in the city. Controlling a tile means you own the business.

Example businesses and bonuses:

• Smuggling Warehouse (Docks) → Periodic drug caches (Xanax, LSD)  
• Underground Clinic (Hospital Area) → Faster healing for the faction  
• Gambling Den (Casino Strip) → Passive cash flow  
• Black Market Gym (Inner Suburbs) → Bonus gym gains for members  
• Adult Club (Red Light District) → Small respect bonus for attacks  
• Chop Shop (Industrial Zone) → Random car parts or travel cash  
• Shell Corp (Business District) → Stock payout multiplier

⚔️ Respect-Based Fair Fight System  
To prevent overpowering and keep things competitive, only factions in the same respect bracket can raid, attack, or try to seize control of a business-linked tile.

📊 Suggested Brackets:
• 0 – 250k respect  
• 250k – 500k  
• 500k – 1m  
• 1m – 2.5m  
• 2.5m – 5m  
• 5m+

Factions can only contest businesses held by others in the same bracket.  
Example: A 600k faction can attack a 500k faction’s territory, but not a 3m+ faction’s. This keeps battles fair, strategic, and tier-based.

🧠 What This Adds to Torn  
• Gives real value to territory – not just map coloring  
• Encourages conflict among similarly matched factions  
• Rewards mid-tier factions with new goals beyond chaining  
• Builds unique faction identities – smugglers, gangsters, medics, etc.  
• Adds passive cash, respect, or item flows to diversify gameplay

🔧 Optional Future Features  
• Upgradable businesses (use respect or money to boost production)  
• Sabotage missions to damage or rob enemy businesses  
• Assign members to defend or run business operations  
• Black market system to sell business products to other players

This suggestion creates a deeper, more strategic city. Factions would fight over turf not just for ego, but for power, profit, and control. It makes respect and territory more meaningful — while keeping the system fair and balanced for all tiers of players.
