Ok, so here is a picture of me with the bike I have spent my life working towards. I purchased it brand new around June last year. The thing I loved most...
Then, on the 10th of September last year I came off my bike and nearly died. I suffered an open fracture on my left shoulder, shattered my collar bone, fractured my scapular, ripped the main artery to my left arm so with the open fracture I was bleeding out. I also suffered a fractured back and punctured lung, dislocated my right thumb and snapped its tendon and I also suffered a full avulsion on 4 out of 5 of my brachial plexus nerves. The 5th is either ripped or also avulsed. What that means is that the nerves have been completely pulled out from my spinal cord meaning I have lost the feeling and use of my left arm for the rest of my life. Because of that, I also now have Horners syndrome which means the my left eye is always a bit droopy and my pupils will never be the same size.
I have lost my whole life due to this accident. Not only was my bike written off but I will never be able to ride a bike again properly. Riding bikes was my hobby and passion. I also worked with my hands within the construction industry so I will never really be able to do that job again properly either. I will also not be able to play console games properly and I need to make a custom controller and re learn it all.

I keep getting a notification that just says "torn". I received it multiple times earlier when clicking on home, it would come up at the top of the screen like a message but when clicked would take me home again. Torn staff NEED to make shopping for RW weapons easier, even if it just allows us to see all RW weapons on the market rather than having to scour the forums for hours in 2022 to the find its sold anyway but not been updated or something. Why release weapon bonuses but not give us a way to actually search for them.
I am very curious how hard TNLF would’ve fought if they didn’t have so many EOD sets and the extras they got half way through..
Either way, good fight! The pushes were annoying to cover for, forcing us to get mercs half way in to match the mercs TNLF had from the start to make their pushes effective and keep their bleeding to a minimum. I even had to lend my red puncture to Kyle to help with all the EOD he was facing. Still pissed that Ched lowered its proc % so much
To be honest, im still mad. I pulled a 33% puncture years ago and loved it. Used it for ages. Loved it so much that i found a 49% puncture of the same gun maybe just over a year ago and did what i could to get it. Now i have 2 punctures that lost billions in value and in usefulness. And even though they are useful against EOD now, that doesnt mean the top tier factions want them and will pay a premium for them incase they face factions with a bunch of EOD users. If they do want them, they are getting them fir pennies on the pound that others paid for them. With a lower proc chance, the useful else against everything else becomes nullified. The threat of hitting a puncture almost every other shot or even back to back regularly has gone, my red has become as useful as a low orange and my good 33% orange has become as useful as a yellow.
In my opinion, this is the biggest money loss due to a Ched item change in the history of Torn. Literally has costed i dont even know how many players billions, leaving every seller of punctures prior to the changes laughing. Just like if he raised a proc chance of an item that suddenly causes each item to gain billions in value. Its something that needed proper testing and looking at so it would not cause this issue. In 10 years time when EOD is everywhere, maybe they will be wanted more but will have had 10 years of crate openings to flood the market anyway so yeah, another good job chedding your paying player base Ched 🤦🏻♂️
Can anyone confirm (hopefully by staff too) that we can find more gold eggs when we already have 1 in our items? Feels like I cant find another one after finding 1 on the first year of the new effects release.
I am mocked by my faction at times because I believe this. Newer players tend to win slots jackpots very often, and i dont just mean 1 year okd, the amount if people less than 2 weeks old who win the slots jp is absurd. I also believe as someone else on this thread does that it is an attempt to keep them in the game for longer and maybe even get their friends into it too. Word of mouth is the strongest advertising and giving 1 new player a JP win is a small price for Ched to pay for that.
Its great for you to be so transparent n this. Its not great to tell everyone that most casino games are purposefully rigged. Why would you rig a game like Keno? It should be just a random number generator, no? How can anyone rig a RNG to exploit that? If it was possible then anything that uses RNG as its deciding value can be rigged, such as the RNG merit. Surely its impossible to rig a random number generator for us to win big? If it was then lotto would be rigged all the time. I once put in 2.5b of lotto tickets here and still lost the lotto (ironically to my fac leader who had like 6k tickets). So why purposefully rig a game like Keno where, even until today, nobody has won the 10b prize of 8 numbers out of 10? You may aswell just confirm to us that new accounts have a higher chance to win the slots JP as many new accounts do. There has been too many accounts under 10 days old who have won the slots JP for that to not be true. At one point i used 150 tokens a day for like 6 months to try for the JP without even a big win, while during those 6 months, many new accounts won the JP. This is proven by the number of people who have made accounts just to win the JP and try to get the money to their main account. It seems wild to rig Keno and i am still confused why something that should just be a random number generator needs to be rigged. Because if you think RNG can be rigged by a player then that means all RNG based things can be rigged by a player too..
It should have been all FUTURE pulls are dropped to 15%, not drop my 49% to 34%?! Like what the actual f**k? Is Ched gonna reimburse 31% of the cost seeing as thats how much what i lost was as a percentage. Even at 49% chance it didnt proc as often as i felt like it should. It has been a great gun to use in all fights and the 33% bonus means it has a 1 in 3 chance to proc on each hit, pair it with HP and a puncture headshot or crit hit can end a fight/defend. You can pair it with any special ammo of your choice and increase its usability; tracers to increase your chance to hit and chance to proc, piercing to increase its damage per hit or incendiary to increase overall damage.
