Can I not work for a business and be a customer of a business? 

the fact is simply this, the decision may have been wrong/improperly handled. 

torn is a business that needs staff, staff must have a degree of autonomy. They’ll sometimes make mistakes. But the customers of any limited business don’t get to dictate anything as to how it is run. We aren’t shareholders. 

i work for a company and use their services too. In the use of their services I’m a customer. When working for them I’m staff. In moderating in this case, belle is staff. As a faction leade, they’re a customer and player. 

LK’s own screenshots confirm he has an issue with her moderation of forums. So where the confusion with bogies reply. If someone holds a grudge for months on end just to get revenge and it’s less obvious then it’s hard to enforce. But immediately after is a slam dunk. Statute of limitations I guess. 

I’m sure the fedding is just an attempt to defuse this outside of the public domain. 

I think what everyone sometimes fails to see is that torn first and foremost is a business. Businesses have staff, as such have a duty of care of said staff. 

I see the whole situation is murky. Staffer is a player, and how it can be seen to be protecting a staffer. 

But there is one key point I’d advise people to remember.

Torn is a limited company. Not publicly traded. In game purchases don’t offer up shares or any right of control.

If you owned your own business would you cede control to one whale, undermining your staff and setting a piss poor precedent for the rest of your customers?

I guess at this rate that damn newspaper crossword will have to wait.
