It has become increasingly apparent that bigger players have been clowning on smaller players/factions for not having xyz perks or battle stats and telling them to "grind it out" since this game is not farmville.

From the looks of it, those smaller guys are having a bloody blast and fighting real wars and having to decide if 3 xans a day is sustainable vs tossing some money in the bank/SYM with current state of plushie prices
This game is fun, I get to experience real wars often enough, while stocking up some money. I often have to curb my expectation reading guides telling me I need to do xyz to do "xyz," there is no catching up to the homies that have been here for years or made use of a different financial system.
We will all need to walk away from this game one day, whether consciously or not. Do whatever the hell you want and have fun my man. I cannot imagine sitting on 300B let alone 10B and not having fun lol
