Let's go back to where my Torn Journey really blew up.
In the beginning of what seems like a while but has only been a few months, I was struggling. My friend who was guiding me through this game and was my main income source got federally jailed. I was left with no support and no where to go. Then I posted on this thread, and Goddess-Macha came to help me. First I got gifts from this thread from TWC-Commander, then Aidu/Macha reached out to me to ask how I was doing. Telling her about what was going on in Torn really helped me to grow in my experience in this tough game. Her invitation to go into her faction, Fuchsia Umbrella, was amazing, even without access to Discord, because of how they treated me and took me in under their wing to become a better Torn player overall. With constant access to experienced users to help me grow and also people to talk to for things that happen in my life, this thread was where my foundation of Torn really lies upon.
Through GM and F'Um (Goddess-Macha and Fuchsia Umbrella, respectively), I learned how to happy jump and make massive leaps in the gym, and also learned how to level up properly. I learned about travelling through levelling up to level 15 in the faction, and with a warm, supportive environment, I learned how to become a better player and to be better in the game. Even with the warnings and many conflicts I get into, this faction has helped me through all of it, from giving me Xanax to giving me in real life advice to help me become a better person.
Now, looking back a few months to where I was desolate and without a constant stream of money to keep me afloat and when I was on the verge of quitting, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Goddess-Macha and FuschiaUmbrella, for creating such a positive and lovely environment for new players like me to grow, and for helping others to be better.
I feel that there should be a HOF category AND rewards added as well.
Like the fact that slightly over 6 YEARS of dedicated time and engagement with a fun and games section and keeping this up is just incredible work. Rewards should be mandated and should be placed in Community Events, because well.. it is Community Events. DPs should be rewarded for getting 1000 upvotes and above, and an FHC for each 1000 thereafter. Again just my thoughts so don't take it too seriously.
Soyburger is a f**king bitch, they are mentally unhinged. They messaged me saying I love you and when I proceeded to report them, they mass hosp/mugged me. Just a f**king jerk overall
