Kush polishes off the remainder of his whiskey before sliding a thick, leafy cigar out of a container within his inner coat pocket. After producing a cutter from the same pocket and snipping the head of the finely crafted Dominican cigar, he casually flips an engraved Zippo lighter from his coat and holds the flame at the end, puffing and exhaling smoke to ignite it. After a few minutes and a few brief drags, Kush focuses his attention on the bartender, Brute. He knocks gently on the bar, blurred by the thick cloud of pungent smoke around him.

Kush walks into Wood’s Tavern with an arrogant grin on his face. He shoots the cuffs of his expensive tailored suit and swings his gaze over the bar while finding an open seat. Before sauntering to his seat he rolls the toothpick hanging in the corner of his lips from one side of his mouth to the other, gnawing on it momentarily as he finds his accommodation. As he lowers himself onto his bar stool, hands propped against the ashy alcohol stained bar, he locates the bartender with his protruding gaze. Beckoning them over with a flick of his head he orders himself a black label whiskey, neat, and flashes a roll of crisp hundred dollar bills before breaking one off for the young bartender and slapping it face up onto the bar top. He gleams when the bartender returns promptly with his drink.
Satisfied, Kush takes the first sip of his top shelf whiskey and rolls it around on his palette. While he exhales through his nose, he adjusts the glass to chest level before beginning to nurse it and scan the rest of the bar patrons.
