When I first joined torn, that was the biggest thing to wrap my head around I thought since Ppl was buying it. It must have  an purpose and what dictates the price but it’s all just the market holding cash is dangerous their fees in the stock market the bank hold your money for X amount of weeks so it’s definitely safer to buy a whole bunch of junk then sell that whole bunch of junk down the line Also, there are speculation involved. Some items might be useless or have no use right now but if they drop a new crime or change your crime, then that item might actually be very useful then there’s certain items like bottle caps that people collect because of fallout the game or somebody thinks it’s funny to have 10,000 tampons in their display case torn is a game full of neurodivergent people who find humor in a lot of crazy things and they can also get fixated easily on those things so if your new player sell it all if it has no use later on down the line when you have all the stocks and maxed out bank investment 2 will probably find some silly item that you like to have a big number of just cause big numbers make us feel good

So basically don’t use it until I can afford a shit ton of fhcs

So u want to do the whole jump in the 15 mins b4 a reset so its like this get happy maxed to its normal amount 

then wait to a 15 mins mark 

then eat all candy until your booster cooldown is maxed (48 candies)

then take ecstasy 

then train untill your out of energy 

If you can use a point refill to max energy again 

train all energy away 

all this has to be done in 15 mins because any happiness that you have is over your normal max that’s given by the property you live in will be lost because every 15 minutes your happiness resets back to your normal maximum. The key of these jumps is to go beyond your normal Max as much as possible because happiness is directly correlated with the amount of gains you get from the gym so more happiness means more gains per energy used, but if you get your happiness to Whell over your normal amount but then the 15 minute marks you will lose all of the extra happiness. That’s why you only have 15 minutes to complete the jump or you wasted it. Hope this helps.
