Hello, I've been wondering what is the crash rate in racing and found no posts directly on this topic.
Maybe someone will find this helpful in getting a merit, so here it is.
As follows, number of races, crashes and estimated ratio.
2563 - 8 - 0.3%
850 - 3 - 0.35%
9080 - 45 - 0.5%
597 - 1 - 0.2%
1847 - 16 - 0.9%
304 - 1 - 0.3%
776 - 1 - 0.1%
This adds up to around 0.4% and 250 races for a merit, but as you can see there are only 7 examples (it's not that deep), so it may vary a bit.
If you would want to share your data in a comment, it would be appreciated.
Edit: With a few more people data added, the 0,4% is even clearer.
TLDR: 0.4%, 250 races for merit
