I turned 1 year old yesterday, but I have only seriously played torn for around 5 months, and I regret not playing more. I think I understand the game pretty well but I am hoping there is someone out there who can see if I am doing something wrong and can point me in the right direction.

I haven't spent any IRL money on the game, and I haven't made most of this money as it was given to me from my spouse because as he said I was always nice and kind to him. I have a 4* AN company and I'm just now starting to make some money off of it instead of loosing it. My goal is to get a PI and a minimum of 500M in the bank in at least half a year. I spend most of my money on Xanax, and recently I have made a "big" purchase of a motorcycle helmet for 58M the the rest of the money is in the bank or it is waiting to be put there.

I have been in a friend's company for around a week and have decided to start my own one so I didn't get as much stats as I could have but that is changing as my company is gaining stars I am also gaining more working stats.

I haven't really been following crimes in order as your support to. I have spent most of my time on burglary as it was a fun crime for me. But now I have switched to graffiti to get the extra merit and I will go back to burglary to get the merit for reaching lvl 100, after that I will start doing crimes in order.
Have I made as much progress as I wanted... No but I understand that this is a long term game and I am hooked on it.
I have been so close to loosing all my money because of my company so many times I can't even count. But fortunately right as I was thinking about selling my company my spouse (who has quit the game) Deeznuts3 gave me a lot of money, that was able to keep me going. Had it not been for him I would have failed so bad. I also want to give a thanks for all my faction members who have helped me, especially apnubi who is the best person I have ever met, and I know I would have regret not meant him.
So this is my progress after about 150 days of actively playing the game. I hope I have at least hit some standard.

When I first started Torn I took a loan from duke, it was like 500$.
Then I quit the game for 7 months... And duke hates me with in the deepest part of his soul.
I've been taking out loans to improve my credit score with him but now I'm stuck at 380k for almost a week and it won't go up, why?
“Duke ain't gonna loan you any more money right now pal. Yous have paid all your fees, so now yous can pay back the $380,000 what I loaned you. Do that and then we can talk about gettin you some more dough.”
When I pay the loan
Yous got some nerve showin' your face here pal. You reckon I forgot how you ain't never pay me on time? Duke don't trust yous enough to loan you more than $380,000 so take it or leave it. Duke's fee is gonna be 2.5% weekly and yous technically owe me from the minute we do this deal. That's a sort of pre-minder of how this is gonna work, since you ain't seem to be able to figure it out in the past. As long as yous start paying me back when I ask for it, yous can get back in Duke's good books. It ain't good to be in Duke's bad books pal. I got a library full of em.”
I'm wondering a faction needs 20 specialist upgrade to unlock the 2th tree.
My faction has gotten the 2th tree for a while now and we're almost at the 3th one.
But the first three has some pretty useless perks like travel cost reduction and increased hunting experience. I'm wondering if we were to unset them and put that respect to reduction in rehab cost would we loose the 2th tree since it would no longer have 20 specialist upgrade.
Also would that mean we need more upgrades for the 3th tree as right now we're missing only one upgrade to unlock it!
