Often when criticizing the Canadian reality, folks will use the bankruptcy for Americans argument.  I'd rather be bankrupt than dead.

I've lived coast to coast in Canada, rural and city both small and almost each of the largest.  I've lived and travelled coast to coast in the US.  

Not sure what metrics you are going by.  I've worked in all sectors, including self employment.

But if you don't mind please lay them out.  Let's fully examine the issue.  Also let's be clear about the distinction between a blue city in a red state vs a red city in a blue state.

Oh and be careful apparently those colours are different in Canada.  Red is Liberal, Blue is Conservative.

Perhaps it would be best to stop comparing to the US, and for nations with universal healthcare to be compared against each other in terms of performance metrics.  Canada has the worst universal healthcare system.  Why?
