Hey Torn people!

I’m a proud level 6 newbie who just successfully shoplifted a single lollipop without getting tackled by security… so naturally, I’ve decided to become a philanthropist. 😆

I’ll be giving away 1 lollipop each to the first 10 commenters — straight from the Torn Sweet Shop, freshly stolen with trembling beginner hands.

Why am I doing this?

Honestly, I have no idea. Maybe I just want to be the world’s most broke candy dealer.

Rules are simple:

Just comment anything ( except bad words, i have a weak heart)

First 10 get a lollipop ( totally fresh and if you eat it you will get 25 happiness! Isn't that awesome)

If I fail the next shoplift attempt, please pretend you didn’t see anything!

I’m still pretty new around here and honestly Torn keeps confusing me every few hours 😅

Everytime I think I figured something out, I find out there’s like… a whole other layer behind it lol.

So I’m kinda curious —

for the veterans, when did the game finally click for you?

Like:

something you understood wrong at first!

a mistake that teached you a lesson!

a feature you didn’t even know existed!

or just that “ohhh now I get it” moment!

New players can reply too, I like hearing how others learn the game.

I know Torn has a lot of community-made scripts that make life easier, especially for things like training, crimes, market stuff, or just general QoL.

I’m not looking for anything shady or game-breaking — just legit, useful scripts that people actually use daily and trust.

If you’ve got any recommendations , I’d really appreciate it.

Links or just names are fine, I can look them up myself.

Still learning my way around Torn, so figured I’d ask the people who’ve already been there 😄, there is so many scripts so i am confused and some of the scripts don't work properly

I’ve been seeing a lot of players relying on selling losses as their main income source, but I’m curious about the alternatives.

For those who’ve been around longer — what money-making methods do you find reliable without selling losses?

I’m especially curious about:

Flying routes (what’s actually worth it now?)

Crimes that scale well with experience

Job choices that pay off financially

Investments / long-term passive income

Faction-based income like OCs or war payouts

Any niche or “underrated” tricks people still use.

I know the basics like plushies, flowers, and stocks — but I’d love to hear what experienced players are doing these days to stay profitable.

Always interesting to hear different perspectives, so feel free to flex your strategies. 😄
