So I found out this recently. I dont know if anyone talked about this before. I searched for this issue and I didn’t find it in any forum nor the “not a bug” forum thread. Basically you can avoid getting kicked out of education as a result of high drug addiction if you do not acces the home page. (Either the home page or the page you acces when you click on your blue name and id).
I do not know how this works but I found it out like this:
At some percentage of drug addiction (the brain icon), you automatically get kicked out of edu. For me this ppercentage was at 8% IIRC. At 7% I took a xan, upping my drug addiction to 8%. Nothing happened. As soon as I clicked the homepage (to see my stats), i got notified for getting kicked out of edu. i found that strange, cuz it did not automatically kick me out right after the xan intake so I enrolled in that edu course again succesfully and.. nothing happened. I then clicked again on home page: i got the notification “get outta my course you goddamn druggie”.
I started experimenting with it, so I went to rehab. A few days go by and my addiction hits 7% again. At 7% i check the home page and everything is fine, im still in the education course. I take another xan and, nothing happened and tried for a few days not accessing the home page and it worked, i was at 8% addiction and still in edu so i wondered “lemme see if i go to home page what will happen”, so i did…i got kicked out.
What I am pointing out here is that you can successfully get to any drug addiction (even at 20% works as i tried at that point too) and not get kicked out of edu as long as you DONT ACCES the home page. You can acces any other torn link or page and nothing happens.
this happened a month ago if i remember right so at that time i did not take any pictures or videos as i weren t so involved in the game as i am now and did not care that much. I expose this thing because I think it s very likely a bug and maybe help out.

I agree, but then you can bypass that and never get kicked out of edu if you are careful enough. I think the game is supposed to work as you should get kicked out, because there exists a company which protects you from getting kicked out of edu as a result of high addiction. So that s why i think it s a bug, IMO. Also if everyone found out about this method, why would they join such company? Or why would the company try to get the necessary stars to achieve that perk? Something doesnt sit right with this.

Im a level 20, active and friendly player who just started playing torn about 2 months ago and I'm making my own money pretty well so far.
I am currently renting a 4525 happiness PI and I am looking for a spouse with whom I can split properties costs (including rent). At every new rental the split is 50/50. The first half of the renting days upkeep is payed by me, the other by the spouse.
