I am for this idea, but it does make the rich-poor divide even bigger..

Hey guys, while on TC Basic I read the following:



"You used to be able to invest any amount in the bank, this led to people exploiting the system by pooling their money and investing it as a whole for insane returns. This was removed from the game and the 2 billion banking limit was put into place for obvious reasons."

I don't get this, say if 1 person invests 1 bil and receives 20% on it after some time, then he gets 1.2 bil back, so 200 mil profit from it. But if 10 people invest 10 bil at 20% they get 12 bil back, which is 2 bil profit, which split by 10 people is still 200 mil profit per person.

So I don't get the "exploit" in it. Unless the returns were exponential, but if that were the case then it could easily be fixed without reducing the limits..

Does anyone understand how the User Activity is measured? I tried looking through the forums, but did not find any satisfying answers. Every once in a while I have a sudden spike in my activity charts while I'm not actually changing the way I am using Torn..

I just started following the new web design education, but on the main education page it shows a completely different one:
You are taking the Intravenous Therapy education course.

Does it matter in which gym one trains in order to unlock the next one?

So imagine you have the following situation:

Apollo Gym UNLOCKED

Gun Shop UNLOCKED




Force Training UNLOCKED


Cha Cha's LOCKED

Would training at Apollo or Gun Shop work towards unlocking Cha Cha's, or do you need to train in the most recently unlocked gym?
I'm assuming it doesn't matter, but couldn't find it, so checking just to be sure.

So that little bar never worked for me, but I just revisited the education page and looked at the relevant educations and now it does, maybe that helps

By my calculations it is 2 mil for 2 xan and 350k PI daily, about 10m for 200 points daily. Which is already 12m.

Well, I make about 8m per day through job and max banking, add some for job points I could be using, and BB's, and I just might make it to that 12m, but either I'm stagnating or actually gradually losing money, this is not sustainable, I would actually need to start flying again to manage this.
And I am a player with a 12 year old account, which has the needed 3B to invest, enough merits to have fully upgrade banking, several money making BB's and with top 500 work stats in HOF so I can get better salary than most. If this is still not easily accessible for me, how would "everybody" do this with "minimal actions"? (Pardon the seemingly attacking tone, is in no way my intention to be attacking here!)

Well, I really boosted my working stats by working in education for a long time, the job points can be used to increase stats.

Like the title says, on the awards page the active tab falls over the individual award's information balloons:
