Although I haven't been playing this game for long, I can say for sure that the most exciting and memorable moments happened late at night in the beginner channel. Everyone talking there was around my level—we chatted casually, joked around, and shared questions about the game.
However, once I aged out of beginner status, I often felt a sense of regret. We were left with only the Global channel or faction chat. Speaking up casually in Global felt like putting a target on my back. Everyone is left praying they become a faction favorite; otherwise, it gets very lonely.
I hope the developers can add more communication channels based on player levels or stats. That way, players can still make friends beyond their own factions. :)
I haven’t been in this world for long, but I would love to see more depth and variety added through NPCs and storylines.
I understand that creating compelling stories and well-developed NPCs—and maintaining them over time—would require a tremendous amount of work from the development team.
So why not let the players help?
We come from different parts of the world and have all grown up in different ways. Among millions of people, there will always be stories capable of moving and inspiring others.
The development team could create a modular, standardized framework and encourage players to submit their ideas through competitions, prize money, or in-game rewards. Players could design their own NPCs, missions, and storylines, with the best side stories being selected and added to the game.
These stories could be categorized by country, featured NPC, difficulty, or recommended player level. I believe this could make the world of Torn even richer and more diverse.
This concept would still need to be developed in much greater detail. If the Torn team is interested in supporting it, I would be more than happy to explore the idea further and discuss how it could realistically be implemented.
Hi 👋 I stumbled upon your post! I also like TRPGs, but I've never played D&D. I do play COC (Call of Cthulhu), have you heard of it? Also, I'm a UI/UX designer, nice to meet you!
I mean, this feature doesn't necessarily have to be in casinos. Wouldn't you rather relax and do something fun with your online friends or friends from your faction? I think lighthearted games are perfectly fine, whether it's chess or other casual games.
I think playing chess is a great idea. ❤️ I know a lot of people might use AI to cheat, but we’re just a group looking to relax and have fun. It’s really enjoyable when you play purely for entertainment without high-stakes prize money involved.

Hi, I'm a talkative avocado 🥑, and I'm here to protect everyone's cardiovascular health.
I'm definitely a newbie and I'm working hard to improve. I'm hoping to find a partner who enjoys chatting and spending time with me. Having an island will help me grow quickly, and of course, I'll share the rent (I'll try my best to earn money, darling).
We can discuss many things—life, games—and I hope we can become friends.
