They have never proven to my satisfaction that the Assad regime used chemical weapons the first time. Obama was convinced they did so we now have 'people' in Syria. It is suspicious in my mind though, that 3 days after Pres. Trump says he wants to get our people out of Syria, there is another attack using chemical weapons. I personally find it difficult to believe that Assad's government troops, or Russia's for that matter, would do the one thing which would require a response from America. It just doesn't make sense.

I don't know if this is a bug or not, but when I mentioned it to a friend they thought it best to report it. I started playing Torn over 10 years ago, but due to relocating and internet issues, I quit playing for about 9 years of that time. With the recent advertisement push going on, the game gained my attention once again. When I logged back on my merits had been reset. I considered that normal because of my long absence. However, as I began to look closer I noticed a few things which didn't make sense. I have medals for completion of things that I do not have awards for. Marriage for instance. I have the medal for having been married for over 800 days, but no award for having been married at all. I do have the appropriate merits for the awards and medals I have, though. My only concern is getting double merits for things which I've already completed. I do not see that it has happened, but I just wanted to make sure that you were aware of the situation. If this is normal, that's good. I just don't want to be taking advantage of anything.

In closing, good game. I enjoy playing and am once again addicted to Torn.

same here, I haven't been looking that hard for them though. Clicking through every page got old after the first day.

I had a dog. In my opinion, it wasn't what it's being made out to be. You had a set breed of dog that you could cross-breed. Once the dominant breeds were cross-bred, the fights weren't really that spectacular because let's face, a Pekingese- Shih Tzu mix isn't going to beat a Pit-bull of any variety. Once the combinations were exhausted, it was only a matter of time before the fights died.

If you want pets in Torn, then my advice is to start thinking about Horses... for racing. Then you would have a much larger variety, more combinations, ability to train them(which I don't remember dogs having), they wouldn't be put into a 'fight' as much as a competition, and you could even throw in the ability to train/higher a jockey. However, you would also increase the coding work load of a lot of people.

So, no.... I'm not interested in seeing dogs return to Torn.
