as to this "war" . it was more of a strange ambush with some even stranger "rules". i got an hours notice. i was allready on xanax CD and with no E nor refill.
For at least a month now not a single item has spawned in town. I got 10/10 awareness and i've never experienced such a dry spell making me think it is something amiss. i'v2e turned off torn tools just to make sure - but nothing. i miss finding small things :/

I dont understand this suggestion to remove merits at all. why ? because someone cries because he/she cannot get what another player has?
so you cannot surpass an old player that goes balls to the wall to obtain every single merit - but why should you be able to ? you weren't around way back when? .. you could have been had you discovered the game, but you didnt. you were'nt born yet ? blame your parents.
@kamikaze duck - your suggestion makes good sense. but would they still count in the total merit count for those that has them ?
i would love to have a cheap option to travel fast , but that contradicts the business class ticket. Like in real life ,its for a select group of people.
if a change should be made i would think the opposite way. add a lounge to the ticket.
once you use it you open access to the business class lounge. the lounge stays open for a period of time before and after flight . you use the ticket and have the option to fly or go to the lounge, then fly. on boardt entertainment could also be available - whatever that might be. (i vote for 10mile high club with the flight attendant.. )

anyways, i work at a research department at a university located right next to the largest hospital in town.
yesterday we had to give them (the hospital) 300 litres of 99.9% puriss ethanol because they were runnning out. ( needed to sterilize hands, surfaces etc )
i hope people use their brains during all of this. wash hands, keep ur distance and do not stockpile.
i joined sticky and the gang when it was helvete. then it became helvete vegas or something.
i see there are mentions of sticky putting billions into the faction, and indeed he did. big poker benders to fund different ventures like buying cesium to make dirtybomb. also played with sticky in another game and he spent his cash on the faction in the same way there.
its also mentioned about sticky being irrational or going off on the deep end. i guess - faction mail could be entertaining at times when half the faction mail seemed to remain in his head leaving the mail hard to interpret - BUT, you could always trust he put his all into the faction. i have no knowledge of ownerships etc .
i also read hv was pouched for members in favour of HT .. not sure that is the right description. many of us were HT players way back when - and had been longing for a resurrection of the old norwegian Hattrick faction. So i guess when opportunity came knocking to go back some of us grabbed it.
what u say makes a lot of sense zebulan. but if torn disconnects certain days/times/events one could start speculating the other way around .. buying these kind of stocks during such events and expect them to rise after .
i just pray that this stock doesnt bottom out like that industry stock where i lost 1100$ pr share , and they've been worthless since :p
the part that makes games like RUST, ARK ATLAS and more , fun - is the threat of login in and finding that all you have worked for is gone or under attack . if there is nothing to loose it gets boring after a while. Torn is a pvp environment . not some sim pve.
can i ransom this thread by threatening to give it thumbs down ? i guess the idea is all fine and dandy, but i'm a miserable sod and jealous of those with cash. all i will ever afford is a faux gold plated spoon..
