For the mechanics part if they went down that route it would be best to have it like this instead to make it more chaotic and worthwhile
- 12 to 8 teams remaining: The bottom 4 teams lose 1 life per tick.
- 7 to 4 teams remaining: The bottom 3 teams lose 1 life per tick.
- 3 to 2 teams remaining: The bottom 2 team loses 1 life per tick.
However the best route would be the Optional Extra route. Start off at 6 teams than lower how many teams lose a life to conincide with the amount of teams left as the competition keeps going on.
That way alliances are always shifting and backstabbing each other.
But that's just my two cents worth.
