1. The faction banking thing isn't my rule. It's a Wolverines family-wide rule that I did not set. You are also not the first new recruit that has accidentally tried to bank with us, but you are the only one that made it an issue.
2. It is very clearly stated in our faction info that we do not offer banking. While it is an understandable mistake to make, it is also your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the clearly posted rules of the faction.
3. Within five minutes of you telling me that you had banked money in the faction, I had it returned to you. You had banked a small sum of money with us, and I would never have considered keeping it.
4. I did not kick you because you accidentally banked with us, nor did I kick you for not paying attention to the rules. I kicked you because of your attitude. You have been arrogant and rude to your fellow faction members since the moment you joined. You are not a team player, and in the two days you've been with us, have never posted a single positive thing in faction chat. I am flexible with new players, but one thing I do not tolerate is a new player disrespecting their fellow faction members.
5. We are a training faction. That is why our requirements for joining are so low. We are able to offer newer players access to perks that allow them to rapidly advance their characters.
6. One of the very first things you said when you joined was that you were overqualified to be here. Again, we are a training faction, and we take in players that don't meet the requirements for other factions, so that we may give them the space needed to grow to reach those requirements. You were with us because you fell short of the requirements of the factions you actually wanted to be in, and yet you still felt better than everyone around you. That rubbed me the wrong way.
7. I don't know what you mean by "he pretends people without donator status to handle banking on their own".
8. Yes, I bountied you and I stink bombed you, and I'm not sorry. You blew up at me in a private chat for a few minutes, and I decided to school you a bit. You don't get to act like an asshole and then expect the other person to just roll over.
And yes, I know how rehab works. But I have a lot more stink bombs.
I think it'd be cool to add a tab to the Personal Stats page (or update an existing tab) that shows the number of payouts we've received from the different stock blocks. Every now and then, I decide to start keeping records of benefits I've received (to track how well each stock is paying for itself), but it becomes tedious and I get bored, so I lose track. If the game records the number of benefit payouts, I'd love to be able to access those statistics. If it could be implemented with a retroactive count (so I can see the total number I've received since I purchased the block), that would be icing on the cake.
The pic below is something I threw together to give an example of what I'd like to see. I've used a few different stylizations for the text to showcase different display options, and to see which one fits best. I'll throw a poll on here to see how people feel about each variant.
While these additions would fit under the Investment tab, I think I'm leaning towards a new Stocks tab, especially if we're going to break down HRG by specific properties (which I'd very much like).
And how about plurality? Would "Drug Pack:" look better than "Drug Packs:"? Grammatically, the plural form makes more sense, but the singular form would seem somewhat cleaner (if that makes any sense).
It'd be pretty cool if we could send parcels/presents to the dump. How much more fun would it be to find those bricks and kitten plushies all neatly packaged beneath festive Christmas wrapping paper?
Or maybe it's your birthday and you want to pretend like that Soap on a Rope was a gift from someone that actually gives a shit. We've got birthday wrapping paper for that!
Wrap that turd in gold foil and brighten up someone's day!
I've known a lot of people who have served, including family members, and every one of them would be APPALLED by his behavior. To call it childish and immature doesn't even begin to describe how despicable his comments were.
I won't comment too much on the sharkey side of things. While I personally liked the guy, he brought this on himself, but I think Apache should have been permanently fedded, too.
Like someone earlier in the thread said, this game tends to bring out the worst in people. That's true for me, and I'm definitely an asshole in this game... but to threaten to murder someone's family IRL is so obscenely over the line that I can't even wrap my head around it.
I'm sure regularly boasting about your military service helps, too. Out of curiosity, exactly when was the "murdering a guy's family because he talked shit in an online game" part of boot camp?
