Didn't say he could now; but more of a warning not to buy palaces etc....
Made that mistake and wasted a lot of money, when I should have been renting PI/saving up for one.
Duals are still better; the only advantage of kodachis is only one education special I think.
I personally go with stats upgrades, in case I end up changing my main weapon in the future. If you're dead set on the existing weapons, then masteries are probably more effective than stat upgrades.
Have a question on this; what sort of grenades can I get from this box?
Just wondering if its worth getting the stock block for it.
Sorry, but no.
Committee members are there to give their views as individuals from a different prespective.
You won't get a committee member joining Torn to be on the committee, but players in Torn joining the committee.
The difference with staff is that they're paid by Ched, ie an employee. So in that case, their status as staff comes first, then their status as players/whatever other position they have in the game.
You can become staff without being a player.
You can't be a committee member without being a player.
"In the capacity of a faction leader" means just that. Status as a committee member is irrelevant.
I don't think membership of the committee should be considered as the definition of trustworthiness in the first place. This is crime game after all.

Nice to finally meet you, heard a lot of good things about you from OS. And yes I also like Terry Pritchett 😊
I can definitely see this in more active factions; having said that, it’s common to all computer games, not just Torn.
In terms of RL, this really depends on your priorities.
As the saying goes, too much of anything is not good for you.
Congratulations 😊
Edit: Hired
Buy mugger confirmed.
Same, out of Fed courtesy of Bogie as POC plus the rest of the team. Thankfully nothing happened to faction mates, and most things were put back.
Err, catch up on forums? Usually busy IRL when travelling.

I think we all appreciate shorter wars for now, with Xmas town and all that on
Thanks for the match, as you can tell, we also enjoyed the excitement.
Have a good Christmas!

Failing crimes? If they drop by increments of 5 it's highly likely due to changes in your natural nerve bar.
You lose crime exp for fails, sounds like you were on the borderline between the two levels.

I think its probably easier for a more casual player to be a subscriber- you could get DPs with cash, but that takes time to earn.
Plus the monthly bonuses, and supporting the game in general.

Right, but then there surely should be separate rules for committee/staff right? Which are more related to what information they have access to?
So if a committe member breaks a player rule, they should be judged as a player.
But if they break a staff rule (by misusing their advanced information for example), they should be judged by staff rules?
Mixing the two positions just doesn't make sense to me.
I get that those with reponsibilities are held to higher standards, but at the same time, it shouldn't detract from their status as players.

Thanks for the clarification.
Even more reason to separate staff from the playerbase then.
And to lower the status of the committee to a feedback group and not treated as a badge of honour or anything higher than average players.

Simplest solution: Bring in bureaucrats who aren't affiliated with anything.
Experienced players in general mean vested interests developed over many years. No matter how hard they try, they will have some form of bias either consciously or subconsciously.
Same thing happens in companies; regulatory authorities are generally a separate entity.
Committee members = INDIVIDUALS from a range of different backgrounds.
Committee members should be sanctioned when breaking the rules as an INDIVIDUAL.
If they are acting as the spokesperson of the FACTION, then it is no longer an INDIVIDUAL matter.
FACTION matters should be handled between FACTIONS; as leaders, they simply represent their FACTION.
Being a committee member means being held to higher standards as an INDIVIDUAL, but nothing more.
