I can confirm, the merc bill you you refer to is not correct. Wont go into exacts though as that is between us and the mercs.
But to answer your question. Yes. mercs are 100% worth it. Its rare enough we get wars that are incredibly close like this. Might be once or twice a year. I was willing to burn a bit of faction money to cover our losses if we were to lose. For me, even losing it would have been worth the expenses.
Its a culture thing though. We do not term anyways, so we always accept we wont make max profits. For this one, we also will subsidice some of the expenses to members to give something back.
Imo, the real question is, why have all the money and funds in the faction if we would be scared to use it when the opportunity presents itself?
I was planning on posting here before i fell asleep. Well... Guess my first mistake was to take it on myself to do it on my phone from bed.
Anyhow, what a fight! SZ and Dealer, you guys are absolute monsters. I have no clue how you did that many hits against us. literally spent the first day being "surely he's out of E now". and then another push with 30-40 hits follows not long after. And rest of Fusion crew followed suit in a very strong manner. You flight crew were an absolute monster too.
Wars like these, where things are truly even with different advantages and disadvantages are imo, the best fun in the game. Was glad to have this one with you!
Im absolutely proud of my people as well, not to let the rough start of getting badly bullied all 24 hours discourage us too bad and keep on grinding and whooping until the war died.

This was really wild. I finally felt like I could relax for the first time in 3 days. And then sub 500 points from win. BOOM! And all hell breaks loose.
The amount of PTSD I'm going to have after this war is not funny.
And just to be said, we were bored too and was very tempted several times to just push against Air, Water and Vern. But then being sensible and smart won xD
Like my comrads above said, one of the best (and stressful) wars i have been part of. Amazing job TRC! From a solid stats disadvantage to pulling massive numbers to over come that. That activity and that ability to just not bleed points are top class!
We learned and had to really get good again after a long time. But the whole team from our side did amazing job especially during the last day. Proud of my team.
Bickomad and I have gone for good part of a year, in regular basis in our chats on that, we do not match each others. We knew it would be one where both go hard and it'd be a really, really rough one. That said, im glad we finally did this. Am i tired and probably spent all our money, yes. But this was amazing. I'd say lets do that again but... maybe in a year or something xD
I have not posted here pretty much at all. Quite frankly, i been pre occupied. I did run our reports though, As of now, we have crossed a net speend of 210k energy on this war. and that is excluding any hits from TRC that were not against us.

Damn this war should be good fun. TRC are no joke and we all know they hit above their weight class. Definitely will be a solid grind and a good test for both of us to see how we manage.
Like i said first of, there is no denying NWA did great and i do agree, you deserve to be where you are. Also like i said before, if that alone is your end goal, then you are already very close to completing that. There literally is not much left ot have completed that.
Like i tried ot say though few posts ago. If you want a peace agreement, i dont think that would happen without there being some give. As, there is no reason for other side to agree to it. So its all about compromise. You either take what you have and what you can, put people into good position to defend in the future and hold it by force. Or you negotiate a deal that is beneficial to both. You can do what you will with that opinion, but like i said, if i was in a position to make the call, i would not agree to anything more than to stay in my current lane.
As for what you feel about Nameless' value. Personally i disagree about them not being a worthy ally. They proved that in the past already. Also, i fail to see how Nameless' benefit would not benefit OBN in long term.
