After about 2 and a half years spent solely in South Africa nearly all the time I have finally obtained the elusive 100/100 Hunting skill!
It's worth noting that I am semi-quit and was using Hunting as a way to still play TC, to an extent, but never get distracted by it. I don't log in daily and Hunting was merely a way for me to get something off the TC checklist in a minute or two whenever I'm on my computer working on other things. Being in South Africa prevented me from getting distracted with other elements of the game, and becoming sucked into being a more active player.
I did have a Donator Pack active for at least a good few of the months I spent in South Africa, but over all this could be achieved a lot quicker by an active player.
I don't know what I'm going to do now Hunting's done, or if I'll even bother logging in as often, as my out-of-TC productivity is much more important to me these days. But it is a great feeling that 2.5years of 'work' is finally completed.

When I opened this account in September 2007, I never even dreamed that I'd one day make it to Level 100.
I always remember when the highest level in the game was King_Ace - streets ahead from anyone else on the Hall of Fame, all the way up there on the seemingly unthinkable Level 71.
I remember the shock of seeing BodyBagger reaching Level 100 - and it seemed mind-boggling thinking of what it would take to achieve that feat.
Yet, in spite of extensive periods of inactivity over the years, here I am many years later:
To some this might not seem that big a deal anymore. There are nearly 5,000 players who have reached this Level before me.
But to me, who remembers being a boy in awe of King-Ace at the grand old level of 71, to actually reach Level 100 - a Level that was once-upon-a-time pure fantasy and speculation - it feels...
Well it doesn't really feel that much. Just a re-written line on a database and a slight change in pixels.
Levelling up in the real world gives me much more satisfaction these days.
