Looks like I'm gonna need a new job.
Not positive about this. I went to revive someone, but it would cost me 60 Energy and I only had 55 at the time, with 8 minutes to go before I would go up to 60. My finger twitched and I hit the mouse button, and I revived the person somehow. Only cost me 55 Energy.
Now I'm mostly confused, but if I don't post this, I might be knowingly using a bug to my advantage by default. Uh, retroactively, that is.

The error goes away when I turn off AdBlocker Ultimate. Those arseholes. It was also blocking the map images in Torn City Racing, as well as preventing me from clicking certain links in Google -- which means googling for the answers to what was wrong has been very infuriating. What have those friggin' morons at AdBlocker Ultimate been doing lately?

I used to gamble daily in this game. Then one day I lost everything I had gained, so I took a loan from the loan shark and won it back again.
But then I did that again.
And again.
Each time, I managed to win back what I had lost with the money I borrowed. And each time I paid back the loan shark, the maximum amount I could borrow went up.
But one day, I lost everything I had borrowed from the loan shark, too. It was over a billion dollars. I owed the loan shark a billion dollars, and I had nothing.
Took me years to pay it off, and now I don't gamble much anymore. I had a net worth of negative one billion dollars, and I don't ever want to be in that position again.
So, be careful. I'm not going to say to anyone else, "Don't gamble," because it's not my place (and nobody should just blindly take the advice from a random person on the internet), but that's my story, it's all true, and if you want to learn a lesson from my mistake, there you go.
