I've been playing this game for over six years, and even though I've had a rather uneventful life in Torn, I've had a few experiences that I do remember.
I used to spend a lot of time in IRC, several years ago. Recently, someone mailed me like "Aren't you Nicole from that chatroom in IRC?" and I vaguely remembered that person. I remember my online best friend getting fedded for a reason I still don't know, never finding a stat enhancer, and losing half a billion to blackjack.
What about you? What are the moments you'll remember most of this game, when it won't exist anymore?
Now that addiction has changed quite a bit, I was doing some research on how many xanax can one take before affecting the company one works for, on different levels of Hermetic (with some friends). For example, in my case, with Hermetic II I could take about 8 xanax.
But then another question got raised, which is the point of this thread: should one rehab after the drug effects have worn off, or does it even matter at all? I believe I've always waited till the drug icon was gone (or until there were 2 hours left, so it disappeared during the flight).
What do you guys think? I considered posting this in the Questions forum, but it feels more appropiate here, since it's not a real question, and more of a theme to talk about. [:sick:]
How does Poker Score work? And, does one earn score according to one's winning hand, or to one's (money) winnings? i.e. you earn more score in high-stake games than low-stake games.

It's actually a quite nice bachelor. It's fun to build up weapon experience. It's also very useful, as others have said. I believe 25% for max exp is a quite accurate figure, but it takes some time to get to max exp, especially if you don't attack that much.
