Running a company is demanding, especially in the case of TVs where there's a real cut throat race for 10* positions. I see that you're not a director but I'll help you out anyway...
Start with 5-10M advertising budget, increase it slowly until you see that it has effect. Effectiveness is based on a lot of factor including the advertisement budget of the other TV companies so keep monitoring your effectiveness and your budget. It's not an one-shot activity, rather a daily task.
Ensure that you have all of the business educations along with a TGP and TCP benefit blocks.
There's no perfect setup for employee roles. Assign roles to employees based on their working stats. Don't assign people to positions if they don't fill the primary and secondary working stat requirement. 150% of the required stats is the safe side.
Assign someone with 90K+ END to Secretary during role reassignments (or profit drops) to see individual employee incomes. Don't keep a Secretary all of the times as this role is not making profit.
Assign someone to Cleaner if your environment is below 100%. Falling below 100 could hit seriously your income (about 1/3 of your income could be lost).
Don't assign Marketer unless you have someone who fills the high stat requirements. This position doesn't generates direct income but increases a bit your Popularity.
Product (commercial contract) prices are tangible. You can easily calculate out other's setup: just divide their daily profit with the number of customers. Tarelli's product price is 86250 for example. Don't change the product prices drastically, only with baby steps. You'll lose customers if you raise it too quickly.
Make sure your company is full with loyal and active employees. The longer they stay the better bonus they provide - but if they go off for weeks just kick them.
A company with 10 employee slots will stay at 8-9* forever, no chance to reach 10* If you want to reach 10* you need to invest to at least 18 employee spaces.
This is coming from me, I pushed my TV to 10* before I sold it so I know what I'm speaking...
You can constantly attack, bounty, war people. Take away their faction members to weaken their faction, take away their employees to ruin their company. Keep their happiness low with specials/items.
Disclaimer: I'm writing this suggestion as a fellow player, not as a player committee member.
If you look at the job market or search extensively for employees you'll see a lot of casual, semi-active players with decent working stats who unemployed due to the company activity requirements. Most of them don't even attempt to go back to the job market as they would just harm the company they join and make directors angry with their inactivity. Same time, companies with high working stat demanding positions are struggling to find active employees.
My suggestion is to solve both problems by implementing a new, merit upgrade that helps to moderate the activity demand. Basically it should increase the inactivity grace period with more or less 12 hours of every level of the upgrade for the given employee. Calculating with 12 hours it would result a 5 days of extra grace period for the employee without causing a performance loss.
This would allow employees to take breaks or holidays and directors to fill their company ranks more easily. In my book this would be a win-win.
FAQ
Why merit upgrade? Because it increases your performance on a specific field like other merit upgrades. Merit upgrades covers combat, banking, crimes - why not companies? I'd like to see this as a bonus what people can earn instead of obtaining it for free, but of course I wouldn't cry to see a generic moderation for the company activity requirements instead of it.
How can I see if the employee has the upgrade? Talk to them, look at their performance during inactivity. You should still monitor your company like today.
How it would be called? Honestly, I don't care about the upgrade's name. You can suggest any names or let Ched/Devs select one.
Thanks in advance for commenting, rating, suggesting, tearing the idea apart!

That's right, not all companies have Trainer positions - plus some of the companies have different name for the Trainer position. Take a look at Torn Wiki (the official one): https://www.torn.com/wiki/Companies You can see all positions there. Positions where you can read "Trainer" in the special field are the ones you're looking for. TVs don't have Trainer position.
Lot of factors like blade shape, weighting (for balance), grip and the most important thing: black blade coating. It makes any accurate knife commando/military/genocide ready accurate.
So Styx... your thread's subject is "weapon modifications has been implemented". In the quote above you wrote "the weapon modification has been released". None of these statements are true as weapon modifications are not available in the game. You can call something implemented or released when it's publicly available in the game. Releasing a change is not the same as releasing information about a change. You misused the terms.
Every company has a position called Bookkeeper or Secretary (or whatever). If you assign someone to this position you'll see the incomes generated by each employee. In certain situations this could be low: near to addiction border, too many employees assigned to the same position or not enough working stats to fill the position.

Same goes here. I got my popularity up to 64% and now it's drastically dropped to 50%. Today it's still 50% but the income is went down from 58M to 48M.
Looking on the company vault my employees were not paid today (neither yesterday?).
Something going on, please take a look on the crons.
Edit: Income generated at usual time, 18:04. My popularity got updated from 50 to 49 around 18:30ish. Salaries paid around 18:55 Is this normal?
