Rules:

Multipliers:

Fancy abilities for fancy players! The more you play, the more likely you'll be able to collect these super powered actions to bend the game to your favor.

Force Pass- (aka FP)
Allows a poster to ignore the above post if it is "Take" or "Steal" to keep the game going.
This move adds to the pot in the same fashion as a normal "Pass"
How to get: Granted to the person that passes on a multiple of 100k starting at 100k.
(Starting on Page 655, Players on the "Greatest Takes" start each game with a number of FPs equal to [11 - ranking]. Rank 1 starts with 10, rank 2 gets 9, so on.)
Stipulations: Only lasts for that game only. It must be recorded on every post made by the carrier else its void.
Example:
"Pass 450k
FP: 2"


Steal- (aka Steal)
Allows the Poster to take the above poster's value if it is a "Take" or "Steal"
How to Get: Granted to a person who passes on a multiplier value (500k, 5m, and 20m)
Stipulations: Persists through all games, but it must be posted on every post made by the carrier else its void.


Double Take- (aka DT)
Allows the Poster to take double the value of the current pot and is immune to "Force Pass" and "Steal"
How to Get: Given out as random prizes, normally for helping me keep track of the game, or through random.org events.
Stipulations: Persists through all games, but it must be posted on every post made by the carrier else its void.


Chill Pill- (aka CP)
Once used, the poster above the user can only "Pass" until the current pot is taken.
"Double Take" ignores this effect.
How to Get: Given out as random prizes, also earned if you pass on 420k.
Stipulations: Persists through all games, but it must be posted on every post made by the carrier else its void.


Mega Pass- (aka MP)
Acts as a "Force Pass" and a "Chill Pill" at the same time.
In addition, the next Poster may not use "Take," "Steal," or even "Double Take."
How To Get: A turn must be spent by saying "Craft MP." This does not add to the pot although the MP is immediately granted.
In order to craft an MP, the player must exchange 1 Chill Pill and 2 Force Passes.
Stipulations: Persists through all games, but it must be posted on every post made by the carrier else its void.

The main game will be reworked for it to be easier on me, and more criteria and crazy stuff will be added at some point. Tracking the original game with it's original criteria proved to be unwieldy to host, so i'm looking to optimize although it is a very low priority at this point.

Disarm on a melee weapon with great stealth. What more do you need? Stats aren't the best but if it forces opponents to drop their weapons, only really need that acc to proc for you! This is the perfect counter if your opponents are flexing their wealth with insane gear.

Description:
I adore this weapon. Insanely good ammo management, mediocre stats, and the perfect debuff, this is a weapon for you faction folk to put in your armory. Get your temp throwers to equip it and blast a few debuff procs at an enemy between stat grenades or take the reverse route and give it to one of your Dex/Def whores getting grouped and let them spray debuffs at the group attackers so they can be picked off easily. No recoil pad here but with the lower fire rate & massive magazine, extended mag works to give a few extra hits.

+51% str is pretty great but the low base damage holds it back from being useful. A couple people insist it has some application but i'm pretty sure they're just trying to butter you guys up. Maybe there's something about combat mechanics i'm not seeing that could make this useful. Either way, looks like junk. I think it's junk. I expect it to go for pretty cheap. Merchants might want it or people wanting to get junk legendaries for whatever Ched's plans for them are. Or maybe just for the novelty of having your own Legendary?

Description:
Look at that +40% quality! Now, unlike the set bonus for coins, we have seen the set bonus for armors already so this helmet is needed if you want the full assault set and that is great quality for an assault helm. If it isn't the best, it has to be one of the better pulls! Definitely a great item! The coverage of this item is a bit deceptive: remember the body covers the majority of the throat and the bullet resist means anyone gunning for you is going to need to run PI ammo to make a dent if you go for the assault set, meaning the face hits aren't going to be as bad as like... you know, INC ammo to the face while wearing a moto or something.

Description:
This is a fantastic piece of armor. Insane coverage including arms and majority of the throat. It's like the best part of Flex and FBA combined. The 25% bullet resistance is a huge boon too since a lot of the Cupid and high dmg buffs and all that are on guns that i've seen, and obviously GAKs get stymied by this piece in particular. This item is a great investment in survivability no matter who you are.

Description:
A secondary weapon for an independently wealthy player. Great stats for a secondary with mediocre ammo management. This is the weapon you get after you have a good Primary and Melee in order to cover your weakness. If you have a slot dedicated to a utility buff like Bloodlust or Warlord and having either a strong acc or strong dmg weapon as your other, this weapon can cover your other bases. Run INC ammo in it for over 80 dmg or put TRC rounds in it for a 61.51 | 72.82.

I'll be honest, not the greatest weapon around, but i wouldn't call it complete junk either since the buff and the high acc work so well together. Def or Dex whores could reliably trigger Frenzy, reducing the chance of later misses on either dex whores or when being group attacked during a war. A nice addition to a fac armory if for no other reason than to have the option available.

A great Primary, no idea why rest of the fac is opting to sell this thing as it's helped in our last couple wars. Low ammo consumption means you can affordably run INC ammo for a >70 | 70 or opt to go for Tracers 53.86 | 80.53 for those pesky dex whores. Recoil Pad and/or math edu necessary. Use a Choke if you're putting INC rounds in or Light/Laser if you're running TRC ammo

Meh. Not as bad as that foot AK though. It is a secondary, the speed buff is solid and will *almost* counter the debuff of incoming smokes, and the accuracy isn't complete trash. I suppose you could run tracers in it and throw on some combination of a hair trigger, forward grip, brake, or sight just to have an answer if you get caught in a fight with someone a little too dodgy or too many smokes are on you.

Strip Clubs already have an interesting niche as each type boasts the best performance for a particular gym stat. This makes them a cornerstone for special gym builds if you join a 10*... but the rest of the perks?

Not good. The next best thing is 1n/jp and then the stat passive... overall, i'd say they're pretty unique in never being "bad", but they arent very good either.

For one, best gym stat gain, unless you're an absolute stat whore, is only good for a limited time and conditionally at that. This puts stress on owner as people come and go instead of wanting any lasting stability.

You know what would have stable demand and fit perfectly in the company though? Strippograms.

They do make a nice rare treat for game events but same is true for tons of other boosters as well. I see no problem with companies generating them. Infact, it may help their price to drop a bit and make them more attractive. I am recommending jps based on the price i think they will drop to, though their current price will mean jps should be about 50% more than what I recommend.

Change current perks in strip clubs by sliding 3* and 5* down one grade and removing the money perk. The new 5* Should be Strippogram for 120 jps

Ched's post here in response to this 250 R+ suggestion requested some further details and information. A group of us including the OP, MsExa, got together to hash out ideas and create a document outlining our ideas for OCs 2.0, implementing features and ideas of the OT into a system we believe is pretty refined.

I had linked the document in that thread after a few weeks, but we've received no indication Ched's aware of it. We understand it is a long document and do not expect a response right away, but posting in B&I to be sure he does have it. We had made a demo from an older iteration of our ideas which we can privately mail a link to. We also have a lot ideas for Steps, and can work on a spreadsheet providing dozens of steps if he's interested and exploring these ideas further.

A shame it isn't bulk though. has to probably go to jackets. they used to be really abundant and i have some left over from giving away to players for their dump merit. Now I just keep them though in case something changes with them.

Unfortunately not easily. They're too technical and small to be successful Suggestions. Anything small like that has a lot of difficulty getting rates. I think they're good too though!

why are you so old? Why do you want to get promoted in the grocer job?

 

 

Buy trains or join a player owned company. Do RWs. City purchases are a small income, not something to depend on.

 

Even selling losses is better than starter jojb income or city purchases.

At the end of the day 99% of Torn is training for that 1% time it matters, whether that be combat events, TT Wars, and buying the things you need to get ahead.

 

Here's a video i did on companies. It recommends a few beginner companies. Since your age is high, i'm not sure what your work stats are or gym exp is, but usually I recommend either music store, sweet shop, or candle store. Maybe you can glean something from this though.

There's actually 3 new items that have been rattling around in my brain. I know they'll never happen but i like the idea of them all the same.

 

 

New Item: Rubberband (special item)

Allows you to pack certain items into new special items that can be used for various things:

100 credit cards = Use for 25-100 Card Skimmer details (1h booster cd)

1000 receipts = Use for 50/50 chance to get jailed for 1hr or get a Gift Card (6h booster cd)

100 phone cards = Use to send an anonymous event with a message (1h booster cd)

10 Cell Phones = Use for 0-25 Card Skimmer details and 0 - 25 Emails for Scamming (1h booster cd)

 

Why: It's not meant to be good, but it would set a floor value for some junk items where it would be better to consume them than beer in those crimes. When I came up with this idea, the value of the items was already more than what the crime gives, so the value is in treating it like a replacement to beer. With the exception of the receipts, which would act as a hide from mug/war hit item for massive booster cd. Probably too OP and would need something like 20% jail, 30% nothing, and 50% Gift Card.

 

 

 

New Item: Shipping Container (supply pack)

 

It'd be a supply pack for very high end-game crimes/OCs that can have massive volume of cheap items to help the flow of wealth and goods. I was thinking like ~1k to 5k of a single random candy, plushie, material, or alcohol; a random car; 100 of a single random weapon or armor; 25 to 50 of a single random supply pack, booster, or equipment.

 

Probably will never happen because inventory limits are already critical, but I could see people rolling hundreds of thousands of lollipops and chocolate kisses trying to get a result like 100 Naval Cutlasses, 5k Pixie Sticks, or 50 Goodie Bags. Any sort of new item that could be desirable in high volume could be introduced through them as well.

 

 

 

New Item: Carafes (untradeable supply packs)

 

Juice, Tea, and Coffee carafes that are like kegs of beer, but untradeable and for energy. They give an 1 - 5 untradeable 1e, 3e, and 5e energy drinks as "Cup of Juice", "Cup of Tea", and "Cup of Coffee" respectively. Same cooldowns as other energy drinks. Would be a nice mid-tier untradeable crime reward for specific crimes without impacting the economy too much.

What does race to 10k mean? Did i miss something?

Hammond survives the movie which suggests what he represents and his ideologies are flawed but not so much as disrupt the balance between evolved thought and baser, carnal needs from creatures much better to serve those needs than ourselves. That vanity was humbled and corrected. Should have died in the movie because it's unsatisfactory concept otherwise. That's the real cop-out.

Yep, it's good but comparing is the problem, it's not even close then.

 

just metal nunchaku for clubbing vs slashing with kodachi, yasukuni, and naval then Piercing with Macana and DBK both of which are just insane. Those types also have some passable stuff for budgets but clubbing has...???

 

Not that the Homerun exclusive is exactly worth getting a clubbing for but they do have decent other perks possible too.
