It's not racism; it's nationalism. We're talking about countries here and the application of their policies in the USA. Anti-socialism is not a trait of white people, it's a trait of America.

This nationalism = racism thing is a huge misconception that has been spread widely since trump became president. First was the "muslim ban". 1) Muslim is a religion, not a race and 2) it was a ban on countries that happened to be primarily muslim, not a ban on all muslims. Also the Mexico border wall. 1) Mexico is a nation, not a race and 2) Mexican is a nationality, not a race. What's most ridiculous about this is that most Mexicans are white with Spanish origins!
This is the first time our increasingly connected world has received mainstream pushback and powerful people have a lot to lose without free trade and cheap labor, so it makes sense that the US media is pushing hard on this narrative. Also, most people are too young to remember the world before it became so connected. Anything that goes against that is of course going to be uncomfortable for them.

Liquidity is only really useful to people who need to be able to buy at a moments notice like traders. I like it this way because it's like real life. There's a lot of things you can criticize about the tariffs, but suggesting that the loss of excess AG production to China will lead to starvation domestically? Really? That's a reach. The brain is the easiest organ in the body to change. You don't need to physically alter a brain via surgery to change it. Changes can be made through therapy and medication. It happens every day to treat mental disorders.
You know who else has brain abnormalities? People with mental disorders! Depressed people have specific markers in their brain too. It's still a disease that needs to be treated.

Things were better then because we didn't have as much welfare, food stamps, etc. That's the point.
Now taxes are higher, people are lazier, and it's more difficult to operate a small business because of how big our government is compared to then.

I agree with you on the military budget, but what if I told you that the boomer generation and generations before it never spent this much on welfare and services? That welfare is a large reason why people are lazier? That the growth of our government has caused the growth of our debt?
If anything, previous generations should be evidence of why all these welfare programs and government services are unnecessary.
You completely misunderstand. Welfare is paid in addition to one's job.
For example, you need to make $9/hr or under to receive welfare. This welfare is equivalent to $3.50/hr. So, people who work at Walmart for $9/hr are really making $12.50/hr. There is no reason for them to get an entry-level warehouse job for $12/hr because they would lose their benefits and effectively make less. So, now they're stuck at dead end walmart job instead of working somewhere where they could potentially gain more valuable experience because welfare incentives them to stay in welfare.
That's a completely isolated and avoidable issue, though. It doesn't even really have much to do with government policy. The tech industry swarms large cities because that's where the largest pool of skilled employees are. Then even more skilled employees flock to those cities because that's where the highest paying tech jobs are. Unfortunately, if you're not in the tech industry, you will probably get priced out of the area.
That's why service-based economies suck. It increase income-inequality immensely because service employees can't afford to live where the tech employees need their services most. Canada is much deeper into this trap than the US is.
Fortunately, the US has many metropolitan areas where this isn't the case. This is why it's isolated and avoidable. Outside of LA, SF, NYC, this problem doesn't really exist.
