Now that racing is back, and with a whole new look and feel, I've been looking at the upgrades again. As many of you have probably noticed the bars that go along with the upgrades have changed, and I feel that they've come back with some confusion. (I'm sure I'm not the only one.) There are, as there always have been, bars along with the upgrades that denote how they will affect your performance. The part of this I find confusing, is that part of the bars are grey, while other parts of those same bars are either green or red, obviously showing whether they help or harm the performance. For example the stage 2 remap, when looked at next to the stage 3 appears to give more top speed, but less acceleration, but is not very clear. My question is: Is only the colored portion of the bar relevant, or is it the entire thing?

I'm assuming from the way that the poll was presented and the order in which I personally was presented the choices, that the results will mostly be used to order the special sets by most/least likable to see which special sets may need to be a little more/less attractive. Probably won't result in any huge changes, but probably some number tweaks at least.
I'm pretty certain the color of the filled portions relates to the relationship between the gains of the gym you're viewing and the gym that is currently active. (Red/orange being lower gains for that stat than your current gym, green being higher gains)
Has it been considered that perhaps the source of this exp is the respect gained and not the hospitalizing? In all of these instances the levels were gained during warring. Assuming not much has changed in the way of exp gain from hosping, then the next most likely answer is that it's coming from the respect gains.
