Sooooo apparently I'm 6000 days old today, so I thought I'd share some pearls of wisdom.

1. If you want to be better than me (it's not hard) be active, I've been inactive for 5555 of my 6000 days. I started the account in school ( a bunch of mates got banned for sharing the same IP address.....remember those days!?) I've played more in the last 200 days than the other 5800 days put together.

2. Making money: Don't start an oil rig, by my calculations it will take roughly another 6000 days for the rig to pay itself off, although I am impressed with how quickly we gained 8*’s and that it does actually turn a profit, the best money making scheme for me was Dog fighting (that was a thing....crazy huh!) man breeding Dem dog's made me phat dolla, now I guess it's all about selling plushies (weird!)

3. Level 100, When I officially stopped playing many years ago, there was one level 100....ONE! now they are everywhere, did ched make it easier to reach level 100!? Either way unless you want the merits, I'd probably stick to being sneaky and level holding at level 31 or something silly, always good to nail a level 89 noob when you're level 31.

4. Crimes, stick to the safe crimes, I have over 39,000 crimes,most of those being warehouse arsons and my NNB is terrible, because I went through a phase many years ago of just hacking everything.....wooo $220,000 has been transferred, yeah making big bucks....jesus christ I don't think i'll ever see 50 NNB again the amount of those I've failed......But then back in the day there were no guides on Crimes, no one had run the numbers, we were all just blindly clicking and hoping for the best.

5. Stat enhancers, I remember when they first were introduced, I found one......I figured it would give me an edge, I used it.....What A Goddamn Noob (but hey I got the merit).
The worst part......many years later, I return to Torn, I find another one......I f**king forgot I had used one before, So I used it to get the God Damn Merit I Already Had, FML! Anyways dont use a SE untill your relevant stat is at 2.7B if you want maximum gains that is.

6. After 6000 days old, I still don’t have a clue what I’m doing, and the above advice I really would fact check before taking

7. As it's my 6000 day birthday I'm fully expecting gifts, Currently saving for the last company size upgrade ($6,300,000,000) so cash is fine!!!

Humour me, many years ago in Torn, am I correct in thinking attacks used to cost 50E, and I vicodin would reduce attacking E to 25E, as well as boosting stats.

 

I also vaguely remember you could take a vicodin and xanax at the same time?

 

Ive spoken to a few players who seem to think this too, but also some whi think I've made it all up.
