There is absolutely NO reason to allow such irrelevant third party services especially gambling ones(!), running in torn.

It has just happened to me... First time i face that issue.
And it didn't appear with delay only in the events but in the log as well.
I was outbid on an item in the auction house, i could see it in the auction house but I received the event and the check with the money only after the auction had ended ( approximately a minute later). Rather big delay when we are talking about last second bids.
