Its annoying that if an enemy initiates an attack, it still says "join" when you attack them. It should let you know you're helping out your faction member and maybe say "defend" or something, so you know you're not taking a hit from a faction member.

I didn't get the merit either. Though didn't realise there was potentially a issue, though definitely burned down under 30s. I used so much fuel and accelerants
