In How do I get nerve besides waiting
Alcohol items will replenish your nerve bar at the cost of your booster cooldown, as will certain drugs, and can go above your max until you spend it. Your nerve bar grows with your Crime Experience (CE), which is hidden like level XP. You build CE by succeeding at crimes, and lose some when a crime lands you in jail.
