I mean, even though our brains are mostly filled with trouts and turtles, we do apply some common sense too. But im sure we both know thats not how the real world works either.

I can confirm, the merc bill you you refer to is not correct. Wont go into exacts though as that is between us and the mercs.
But to answer your question. Yes. mercs are 100% worth it. Its rare enough we get wars that are incredibly close like this. Might be once or twice a year. I was willing to burn a bit of faction money to cover our losses if we were to lose. For me, even losing it would have been worth the expenses.
Its a culture thing though. We do not term anyways, so we always accept we wont make max profits. For this one, we also will subsidice some of the expenses to members to give something back.
Imo, the real question is, why have all the money and funds in the faction if we would be scared to use it when the opportunity presents itself?

I was planning on posting here before i fell asleep. Well... Guess my first mistake was to take it on myself to do it on my phone from bed.
Anyhow, what a fight! SZ and Dealer, you guys are absolute monsters. I have no clue how you did that many hits against us. literally spent the first day being "surely he's out of E now". and then another push with 30-40 hits follows not long after. And rest of Fusion crew followed suit in a very strong manner. You flight crew were an absolute monster too.
Wars like these, where things are truly even with different advantages and disadvantages are imo, the best fun in the game. Was glad to have this one with you!
Im absolutely proud of my people as well, not to let the rough start of getting badly bullied all 24 hours discourage us too bad and keep on grinding and whooping until the war died.
All, please no as tight as a war for a few weeks so i can catch up on sleep and mental capacity!
