What TornLife has verified
- The wiki says the faction leader, co-leader, or anyone given 'Money Giving' and 'Points Giving' permission can see all members' money and points balances in the 'Give to user' panel and give money or points to members. This is the in-game route for moving points to another player. (documented; Faction › Controls Panel › Give To User, )
- The profile action icons listed on the wiki (2023) include Send money, Initiate a trade, Send mail and others. No option to send points is listed. (documented; Profiles › Profile Information › Actions, )

- The Torn Wiki's Point page (captured 2026-02) says points cannot be traded, but can be exchanged between people via the faction armory. (documented; Point › How To Earn Points, )

Total balance information was added to the panel on 10/11/20. (confirmed by Torn; Faction/Patch History (1/7), )
- The Give to user tab accepts URL parameters to prefill the name and amount: givePointsTo=<id>&points=<n> to give points, or addPointsTo to add points to the user's balance. (documented; Faction › Controls Panel › Give To User, )
- Points Giving is an Orange-level position permission, set by the leader or co-leader. The Point Storage armory upgrade costs 22,265 respect. (documented; Faction › Upgrades Panel › Armory / Chaining, )
- Recruits cannot be given permissions, but a member with the needed permission can still give them items from the armory. (documented; Recruit Status › Limitations › Factions / Companies, )
