- Crime skill runs 1 to 100, per crime, nonlinear: CS50 is about 25% of the way, CS80 50%, CS91 75%. Uniques give five times the expected skill gain; Shoplifting uniques need certain security statuses and average about 30 attempts. - Notoriety rises with every attempt in a shop, making later attempts harder and jail sentences longer. Higher skill reduces gains, but critical failures always maximize notoriety.
