Whats the best melee weapon one can have ????
Diamond Bladed Knife (Piercing) and Naval Cutlass Sword (Slicing) are both excellent, best Clubbing is Nunchukas for the price.

I found the dual melee weapons to be awesome , i was using the diamond bladed knife and now im using a dual melee weapon and im kicking as.
yeah Duals would be great. Naval cutlass sword is a good choice too
There is an education (one of the history ones) that gives you a 10% damage bonus to all japanese blades. Essentially the only ones that matter are the samurai sword and kodachi swords, doesn't work for duals though.
I used dual melees for hundreds of days but got sick of the occasional and vital missed hit and now nunchakus/DBK are both accurate as hell for me.
Also to note: had merits on clubbing and the duals were still missing too often for me, nunchakus were a huge improvement.

Is the macana wield powerful
You know with any weapon or armor you can click on them (like in the item market or various shops) and there's data on their damage and accuracy....so you can all answer your own questions by using this...like what's the best weapon for $1,000 or $500,000...etc...
...And "powerful"/"best" weapons are all relative to your strength and the opponent's stats. You could be a level 1 with a dual samurai sword, a welding helmet, flexible body armor, and all the other combat gear with a strength of 10 that falls like a fly to a level 15 with 10,000 strength and defense, naked, and equipped only with a pillow.
Duals are a great choice but since they are very expensive, use the macana. It's my favorite go to weapon.
You need to be stronk for duals, or you'll struggle when trying to use them. [:tongue:]
Seriously, they are great for players with high stats, but new players are probably better off choosing a weapon with high accuracy, like Macana, DBK, Nunchakus and so on.
Technically the best melee weapon would be fists. With the right educations and job perks ofcourse
Or the kick, with the 10 star furniture store job special, which gives a 300% boost to damage done. Not sure what the accuracy is compared to melee weapons though.
yeah sorry it's kick, I confused them there for a second xD
DBK is thought to be better than Macana even though the stats are exactly the same. The reasoning is there is a hidden critical element. I'm not sure if this is true but the price is very similar. I personally prefer duals but there expensive.
