Ok, so without giving away too much information (to spoil the suprise). I defeated Scrooge earlier today....

There were certain things given to me in return for this which have since been removed, events deleted and complete censorship of my posting.
Apparently I should have known that Scrooge was not yet live (apart from the fact the Newsletter just said the first person to hosp him...)
This is both unfair and not in the spirit of the game, not to mention Christmas!!
I have screenshots of conversation with both Ched and Aurel1 about this as well.
You weren't the first peron to hosp him.
People have been hosping him since the newsletter went out.
That sucks, at least you finished him off, I got pwned. Hopefully he will go live soon.

B: Certain prizes were given to me (not the ones outlined in the newsletter) which were removed/deleted and they are trying to completely censor the situation...

Piggy backing on what was obviously some dev testing and claiming he was robbed (not even mentioning the fact that Ched landed the last hit) is a bit of a head scratcher tbh.
You obviously hosped him when they were testing. You seen ched an aurel in the attack and are surprised when it got returned?
Ched said to wait for the announcement.
were they given to you a bit after the hosp or did it like automatically give it to you..
also it was said they would announce when it would be live and since there is no announcement then nothing counts
lol you think it was live when only 4 people were attacking and 2 were admins?
Its not about the hosping, its about the removal of items and the complete censorship of this event and the fact they've tried to cover it up.
Did he have the 100mil bounty?
Automatically given to me when the attack finished, the NL said to keep an eye on announcements to see how to get involved. Ambigious as best.
They were testing what appears to have been the reward mechanics for Scrooge - you shouldn't have gotten anything especially since you DID NOT land the last hit or do the hosp (but even if you did land the final hit they were testing).

Scrooge wasn't "live"for the purposes of the contest and to be honest he must have had his stats dropped massively for you to be even able to touch him in a 3 player attack - please look at your screenshot before you make even more of a fool of yourself here... :o
You know this is like going to a soccer match running out onto the feild and kicking the center ball away, the game hadnt even start..
maybe the items are automatically dropping and arent sent directly.. seems like your trying to cheat to me when you know it wasnt live
You cannot see who is attacking before you attack, especially if Ched joins after you start the attack....!!
Looks like you get awards for participation now though, that's pretty awesome.
ok since there was no announcement and the newsletter also said 100 mill bounty then you obviously know it wasnt live so why should you keep anything?
The point is this:
A: If they were testing they should have done so on a beta server.
B: If the competition was not running then he should be unattackable (like Hamster)
C: They removed items and deleted events without notification
D: They deleted forum post asking what went on
E: They are "cloudy" at best on when this was due to start "Keep an eye on the announcements forum to get involved!" That does not mean its not live until they say it is
F: I would have hosp'd him had Ched not jumped in
G: Ched attacked after me so I would have had no way of knowing it was a test.

Where they meant to make an announcement that some random player messed up some dev testing and accidentally got rewarded for it and hence got that reward removed?
In fairness if you had of got to keep anything, that would have been unfair.
Seriously just stop - it's pretty clear to everybody what happened (even you I suspect), so I'm calling bullshit on you crying foul here...
