City finds

Is anyone else having trouble finding anything in the city yet alone one of them dumbbells/skateboard or any enchanter that CHED says would be more common than the shit items.

all i have found is bon bons and items worth less than 10k and one museum artifact that was a black senate piece

I have my awareness at full and have the museum unlocked.

would be nice to see what other people have found so we can see how this works.

Just because it's become 'more common' doesn't mean you're automatically now going to find a lot of SEs. Awareness plays a big part I believe, and the rarer an item (hint: SE), the less likely it is to spawn (even if it's now more common!).

The best thing I've ever found is a business class ticket.

Business class tickets seem to be common these days in the city i have heard of 5 people finding them so far and your the sixth.

Found loads of stuff here...don't really mind if its junk, it's free...
Don't forget if everyone started finding dumbells they would drop in price and eventually themselves become junk.

the best item i've found so far is dumbbells. found them 3 days ago. i have 4/10 awareness, i guess i was lucky

Possibly how active you are and how much you are in the city play a role? (been a long time and forget the update notes)

Best are the SE's...dumbbells, skateboards, boxing gloves, parachutes. Although pretty sure you can find an RPG launcher too, which is worth billions.

very lucky i spent 75mill to reset my merits and get my awareness to full :P and that hasnt helped much.

BTW with working in a zoo that gives 70% extra awareness would that get you to the full 100% since the merits is classified as 70% only

I found 9 items in one search two business class tickets right beside each other a heavy duty padlock.
the rest are not worth mentioning and i am 4 off full awareness.

i found a big box of HEG grenades in my first days in TORN... and from then on... a few more funny things. YES.

To be truthful... i have not found any difference in searching eagerly for the FREE items. Right now, have two items...
Ninja Stars and MP3 player.. yet to pick them up. over 130 hours since last spawn, as per the script i got loaded.

May be, by checking the Easter Eggs spawning even after the competition is over... and rectifying the error... they have stopped the entire city-find material spawning? ..... Just my anxiety?

I found this Load image Yasukuni Sword . Worth 29m. Is there any other ways to get the sword besides city finds? I got like 4-5 items that spawned in the last 3 days. Mostly junk.

No, they used to be obtainable via merits, however, since the last merit rework the only way to obtain them now is via the city.

As for the OP, your opening statement is categorically incorrect. Chedburn has never stated that stat enhancers would be more common than the "shit items" as you so eloquently put it. The spawn rate for these items have improved since the release of City 2.0, they haven't became common, they are still are a rare find.

In regards to the other items, the city find spawn rate value has been turned down, however, when you do find an item it means that it will tend to have a greater worth opposed to just being junk.
