We were created by the Annunaki to mine gold for their home planet (Nubira). I guess they just decided to leave us to our own devices when they had all they wanted. At least that's what some people say. >.>

Lol. That's not wrong tbh haha. Think of it in a sense of conquest then.
Where the hell are the Romans? Don't say "Other!" They had the longest running empire of all time, right?
Where is China? They have the biggest population.
And they had also a big empire through history.
Hey, where's Ireland?
nobody would win, we would nuke the planet into oblivion.
sorry guys :p totally forgot about Rome and China lol
Same tech+same intelligence=whoever had the highest population unless there are alliances in which case probably closer to ass random. Also tech level matters.
Assyria
np - Poland wins anyway so yeah -.-
Tech isn't everything. It's from an historical look. Romans and Egypt had fantastic engineers. They did things we still put to use today. They did stuff we can't imagine doing without our technology Today. Imagine what they could do with it? Then of course Sparta. Most nations you grow up and then join the military. The Spartans were born into battle. They begin training from an early age compared to other civilizations. So they're soldiers would have more experience then other nations soldiers Population absolutely does have a part in this scenario. However, do you really think China today with their numbers would compare to Rome? If Sparta and Athens joined together they could absolutely wipe out China. Historically speaking that's exactly what they would do. Sparta and Athens joined together on many many situations. So numbers are exactly everything.
Yea I agree, ancient Rome should definitely be on the list because they are a top contender. All things being even Rome would take it but the best Roman legions are no match for like a dozen MFers in a helicopter with a few machine guns.
but in this hypothetical question the Romans would have the same technology as everyone else.
The Romans will not save you.
Buck Rogers will not save you.
Mighty Cthulhu will find ALL nations equally tasty.

Well, except for Samoans. Those tasty little tattooed butterballs are like popcorn shrimp to mighty Cthulhu. They definitively get eaten first.

Extrateresterials would get involved before we destroy their source for valuable minerals mining.
They did not show us everything. Those crafty lil bastards still have a few tricks up their shiny space suits.
Ancient astronaut theorist? Lol
This prompt reminds me of Sid Meier's Civilization 5. Where else would you get nuked by Gandhi?
Can't say it doesn't make ya think. lol
Loved that game. wasted many many hrs on it.
