Then if you chat with one and find one that you like, and assuming she doesn't care that you don't have a private island, buy a ring from the city or item market, or steal one in crimes, and then go to your items and click propose. You'll become engaged.
Then the rest I'm not so sure about, hopefully someone else can chime in. I don't really know how the new system works being as I've been married for over 2800 days lol.
After you engaged, both should have to be online. New update is like real marriage, you will need to donate (no limit), pray, swear in front of the witness mean you two will need witness.
So if you don't have any friends, ask someone in global chat and click near the setting at the right-bottom corner then click Friends and type the name of person who would like to be your witness. Select them on your marriage page as witness.
When both can have witnesses,, Done!! Congrats lol!!

And don't be one of those pest types who thinks that if your torn " wife " doesnt speak to you in days that you should divorce her . Marriage in torn is worth it just for the merits that you get along the way

quick question, is it possible to share a RENTED property as apposed to an owned 1? According to the wiki, " Either player may move into a property owned by the other player. However, the owner of the property has the ability to kick his or her spouse out of that property", but if I hold a rental agreement am I still able to share?

Yes, rented properties work in the same way as owned properties regarding sharing and the ability to kick out the spouse.
so you gotta pay real money to marry... not worth it.
You don't have to donate real money to do anything in Torn other than to buy donator packs or a subscription, he would have been referring to donating Torn cash.
And you don't even have to do that, I recently married a faction mate so they could get access to a PI and I didn't donate anything to the church.
