Not really, it will just mean instead of me signing in every 10 minutes I can monitor activity of my account and sign in when my nerve and e is at the amount I use.
mobile app? is it alive officially?
Unless it's completely customisable (7 or 8 big buttons to take you to things you need to do maybe) I'm not sure it will make a huge difference to my own game play as I only fly/train on the phone and wait until home for lappy action. Will be interesting to see the outcome though
I haven't seen any screenshot for it or anything. I'd primarily use it if it can provide alerts for events, messages, whatever. That would be the only use to me, but it would almost have to use some sort of push notifications because continuously querying an api on a mobile network would use a lot bandwidth.
Not slept in three months I'm just that excited. Not even got changed or washed. Lost my job. Boy will it be worth it.

It's from 5 months ago. Notice how Ched calls it "Proof of concept"? In other words this means it's just a prototype being developed, right?
Correct, but I'm sure it's coming. It would be, well, dumb... If they didn't.
As per the latest newsletter it is now in development. No time frame for completion or release date though.
Im kind of hoping they'll also have just a push notifications app on its own, as I doubt I'd want to use their browser skin over chrome.
DoctorN by Mauk already does push notifications - I haven't tried it out though so I'm not sure how it works.
Can't you already use torn on mobile though?
I looked through it briefly, you need something called "pushbullet". I didn't check that part out yet, the website is pretty thought! lmao.
The app was also announce and talked about in the TC summer newsletter.
Yeah but the app does the alerts and notifications and such.
