I received a mission to attack someone and win on first try. I initiate attack, someone joins attack, we both win, mission fails. Thoughts?

It says "X and Pushblood attacked Person [view]"
It does not say, "X attacked Person, and you lost"
I don't see how this is a lose.
I didn't recieve an attack lose in my statistics, it counts as a win. So explain further mug.

yeah, you would have to be the one to hit hospitalize, mug, leave in order to successfully complete the mission in that scenario
I just wanted to point that out, think its funny is all. You get mission credits when you attack duke with multiple people, I don't see the difference.
that's the event for helping assist someone to win the attack in your personal stats will count as an Attacks Assisted and not as a win or loss.
it like going after a bounty you dont both get the reward money only one person wins.
as for duke i haven't done the mission but he's an NPC so it was probably coded in to allow assists on him.
It doesn't say you both won, it says you both attacked.
It probably all goes down to the actual wording in the mission
If it says defeat -- that's you gotta be the one with the finishing blow and click hosp, leave, or mug
If it says help or be in the attack when the finishing blow lands - then yeah.... you get the picture, I haven't had the beat Duke mission yet, so don't know the wording on that one.
It does say "defeat target" in the mission phrasing, and in the events it says "you both attacked target".
yeah if it says defeat - it's gotta be you to get finishing hit and be the one that clicks hosp, mug, or leave first

that's the wording from the duke mission which is why it counts if you dont kill him as it will count assists as it says 'if you are part of the group attack'
The person that lands the final hit is the victor, the other party gets an assist.
You did not win the attack, because you did not gain 1 to "Attacks Won" but "Attacks Assisted".
I've lost the mission the same way, you should know now and it won't be a problem again. Also, group attacking and mission mechanics have been pretty well known for the last ~year plus, maybe check out the missions guide next time? Unlucky though, it's a pain of a mission.
