i had the mission so got the pad lock etc when i made the special fruitcake it has disappeared from my item list.. i have not used it for the mission too

I believe once you complete the mission/fail the mission it will disappear regardless if you use it or not for the mission.

It's not a bug, special fruitcake is a special item, that will be removed when mission is completed/failed.
Mine has dissapeared after I created it and the mission is stil ongoing. I have soled it/ dumped it/whatever
