Seems fair. Though I would be interested to know if further information was sought, other than those purchasing large amounts of shares around the time of WSSB increasing in $ ??
As it'd compromise any future chances for anyone investing lots and hitting a good spike, because it wasn't exactly a well announced change??
If I remember right, it wasn't announced until maybe 3-4 days after the change was actually made?
Edit: To clarify. I love this move by Ched, really is great. Though in future, announcements as soon as the change has been made would be smarter.

Perhaps he removed more than just WSSB profits but the calculations are on amount of profit made on the WSSB profit too?
Just think how much money could have been made with the profits from that.
Everyone knows it's easier to make money once you have money, so even if you made 50b on wssb, you could use that to make so much in the time you made it to now. I guess it's better late than never.
It's not a perfect response but it's something at least, some people will have lost legit money too which sucks.

Did they provide you a calculation for that as said in the bulletin?
If yes, you could re-check your figures with those..
Then he should take everything because I'm a gambler and I immediately both lost and then rebuilt all my WSSB money.

I'm just commenting, I wasn't hurt by it, i had my money in CnC when i saw the WSSB bug report making me want to invest, after this i'm rather happy i didn't (for months i've kicked myself for not)

It's funny, I kicked myself for selling as cheap as I did. I lost out on 9b (or rather, negative 16b!!!)
That's true, I know he made about 80b ish from what he told us in forums when people first started talking about it and looking at his graph. But if he did buy it before the committee knew about the changes he will be safe
