Points are actually cheap at the moment. You should study different methods for making money, everything seems expensive until you get a steady income.
more demand, less supply = more expensive.
u can get points by unlocking the museum which allows u to swap plushie and flower sets in return for 10 points per set
u need to complete one of the history educations to unlock it

Agree, historical prices of points are at a low point, buying them is the only choice or buy Dps (50 points) and win Contests (1000+)
And crimes.
Other than buying them or DPs, you can trade in plushies and flower sets for points at the museum, which you can unlock after completing all the history courses. If you're a gambler, you can try and get some points using Leslie's wheels in the casino.
Just spin the wheel in the casino, you'll have millions of points in no time!
Points are capped at a min price of $50k and max price of $100k... so as others have said, this is probably about as low as it gets with points
Best way to earn points is trading sets in the museum...
You can also try to steal from the pawn shop but that has a very high jail rate
You can also win on the wheels as others have mentioned
You can also invite players to play the game and get them as rewards...
I believe you get 250 points if a commic you submitted is published in the Torn Newspaper.
and yeah, since I last invested in points, their value dropped almost $20,000, so if you're going to buy, do it now.
